last time I had this dilemma I made marinated salmon, steamed baby carrots, asparagus, & whole wheat rolls- desert was yogurt with blueberries & granola
my girl will never eat steak she says it is too much work to chew (ha!)

too much work to chew....

that doesnt bode well for other areas of your um... "intimate life"

anyways I'm thinking steak & salmon with a salad, steamed veggie mix... home made whole grain bread... and rice for me on the side....

Really, all you need to do is pick her favourite meal and sub out bad stuff for healthy stuff. If you post her favourite meal here, we can help you sub stuff in that is healthier.

here are some good general suggestions:

Fresh or steamed veggies are best in terms of health and flavour, and they are easy to make.

Pasta is easy, and making a sauce is so easy it hurts.

Olive oil makes a healthy, flavourful sauce when you throw in some italian spices (Try to find the McCormick spice grinder: Italian Seasonings" it is 2 bucks or something)

Salads are best when simple and fresh.

Baking is healthy, but bland, try pan-searing or 'frying' (without oil) the meat with appropriate spices. It gives you flavour without adding unwanted shit.

I have a great spicy bbq chicken breast recipe, it is basically all protien, and I can still get the miss to eat it. I also have a good shepard's pie recipe that is healthy and tastes pretty damned good.

Finally, if in doubt, just look up some healthy simple recipes on the internet.

My mom sat me down about 10 years ago and said " It is all well and good to be strong, good looking, and smart. But if you can cook a good meal and do the dishes after, you will never be without a woman."

Thank you mom.
