Hy Guys,

I need your help. I have been training for the last 3-4 years but really got the momentum in the last 18 months with consistency in training and diet. Almost 18 months ago I joined powerlifting and competed as well. Since then I have been squatting and deadlifting quiet consistently week in week out. Its almost 6 months ago that I gave up squat coz I inflicted a injury in my knee and I was competing in December for deadlift. Now almost 6 weeks ago I tried to do squat again with a light weight and right on first day I again felt a severe pain. Since then I have tried Cryogel and gave an ample rest as well. But right now today I haven't squated for almost 2 weeks and my left knee has hurt me a lot today on work place. In addition to this I have added Gloucosomine and am taking couple of tablets a day but situation is that I am having trouble in walking let alone squatting.
My diet is almost close to perfect. I am eating 6-8 meals a day with lot of protien and carbs and fat and almost 20-24 eggs in a day.
Need your advice and help as I love squatting and deadlifting and deadlifting is my competition lift.

Thanks

if rest didn't help, id see a doc, they would be able to point you in a better direction as it could be a number of things..... you cant lift if you cant even walk...you gotta take care of your body before you can ever enhance it

If it hurts while you walk then you really need to go to a doctor. This doesnt sound like some thing that will heal up properly and healthy with out a doc. Please go to one soon.

dont mess around go se a doc! youre only prolonging the time you cant train. Ive been unable to train legs hard since december and im having knee surgery soon to fix the problem. Geting laid up for a few week safter surgeyr is way better than months of half assed lifting with pain.

Yeah bro, there's not much advice to give here. If you're experiencing pain while not lifting and haven't in weeks there is probably an underlying injury obviously going on in there.
