Good source of protein? I know most calorites are from fat and they are high in sodium. I eat turkey/pork/chicken hot dogs and they are less greasy.
I know ill probably get killed for asking this lol. but there are 5-10 grams of protien in each hot dog depending on size and brand. :]

For an occasional treat, particularly during the summer, I like Hebrew National All Beef 96% fat free. They go great on the grill.

Yeah, an occasional treat...the above ones are good.
I would not put hot dogs in your regular diet though...I am sure someone will drop in and say "sure if you are on a bulk". I still wouldn't.

I actually pummeled a pack of those recently. I don't eat the buns, so it was those with hormel turkey no beans chili on top! Good shit, but I wouldn't recommend as a staple obviously.

Love me a good Bratwurst on the grill....good for a nice snack and to add some variety to your eating life
I used to love 'em as a kid....than my school went to a meat processing plant.....never again will I touch one....hahaha
Definitely dont use them as a staple. Never have them on a cut, and if you're on a bulk, still try to limit them. 10g of protein though, whats the rest of the nutritional facts for that brand? I'm very curious, cause that seems somewhat decent.

I would bet unless you are getting premium hot dogs, they are going to be full of bad stuff. Trans fats, preserveatives, and lots of salt.

One of the worst preservatives will be in there too, HFCS.

a couple months back i grabbed a pack to bbq at the beach for me. they were ok. but for some reason they just didnt taste right. i figured because the lack of the fat and lips and assholes in it caused the lack of taste. lol

Hot Dogs are not a good source for protein! But they are a good source for arity clogging fat!! If you want a good source of protein then eat a protein shake/bar or there are eggs cottage cheese milk chicken all good sources of protein with low fat.

They are actually pretty good IMO... I like them alot!!
Beans and wieners! Baked beans, cut up hotdogs, molasses, mustard, ketchup, all cooked together until a delicious goopy consistancy is reached. Throw in some brown sugar or maple syrup to make it especially bad for you.
This comes second to corned beef and cabbage in my favorite meals when I was a kid (grew up poor and lived off this slop).

...sniff...sniff...ah memories!

They sometimes smell better in the past. Just imagine the gastric consequences of such meals.

Id have to agree, i can enjoy maybe one hot dog a year... theres something nasty about them
So you don't recommend hot dogs as a staple eh? I'm wondering what I should do with what my ol' man just bought....he buys the groceries pretty much all the time, but he likes hot dogs so much and he dosen't really understand my eatting. I'm currently trying to bulk somewhat cause I'm pretty skinny. Anyways I am worried all these hot dogs will mess me up with all the saturated fats. I'll probably just tell him not to buy them anymore but what should I do now that we already have all these fucking weiners! lol. Sorry if it sounds like I'm rambling but just looking for some advice.peace
