I have no idea how heavy the Safety Squat Bar is, so that is why I listed the weight used in pies. If anyone knows, please tell me would be nice to know how much we did in GMs today...haha. Did some pulldowns to further fry the back, and CS rows was a second option, looking to do some incline db rows but they were all taken. No worries there still went nice and heavy on whatever else we did. The assisted pullups were done so that my fat ass could get a couple of reps out of my back. Switching things up, off on Tues so shoulders are on Wed.
Also, used my lever belt for the first time today and I like it a lot. Real nice and tight, keeps everything where its supposed to be

I am telling you that I can't do pullups to save my life, ask G or Juggernaut.
Trust me bro, I understand. I can pulldown a good bit too and I am only just now getting to where I can actually do a pullup. It's crazy how hard it is. I don't understand how some of these guys can strap a pair of 45's between their legs and do them! That's nutz!
An incline DB row is when you lay on a incline bench with your chest on the bench so arms are hanging over it, grab dbs and row. Can get a nice squeeze out of these.

I might have to give them a try with the next go around with the GMs....I like the SSBs since it could be felt real good in the hamstrings and lower back. Also on the desent down it hit the abs nicely as well.....thanks for stopping by

Yeah I usually just do it once a week, and give the abs the rest they need like all of the other body parts. Having a thick, muscled waist is a sign of power and when the shirt comes off people are shocked at what is underneath the shirt

Thats what makes it fun, the added weight. Hell if I had to do this without the weight it would be like pulling teeth. The way I approach this is to hit lower, middle and outside abs since they all fire at once when you preform any lift no matter what it is. Big numbers are needed to close out the year

So far today, through 4 meals according to fitday.com I have consumed the following:
- 2611 calories
- 84g of fat
- 161g of carbs
- 286g of protein
- 1.25 gallons of water
Still got 2 more feedings to go, will have a quart of water with each of the last two feedings plus whatever I drink during the session brings me close to 2 gallons a day

Good soild session tonight. Moving some decent weight on the front militaries and that PR gets me a little closer to 315, hot damn. Didnt have much of a plan of attack tonight so the standing db press seemed like a logical move after all that pressing. The shrugs were a big surprise, pleased with them and only means shit will increase from here. Juggernaut had one hell of a showing, switching up from behind the neck to front militaries with each set, keeping the weight the same for each one and hammering home heavy ass presses. I believe he said one of the sets was a PR, he looked fluid and strong as hell. Legs tomorrow.....wooopie

Single Leg Hamtractor - 4 sets 10-3, 210x3 on last set
Single Leg Ext - 4 sets 20-4, stackx4 on last set
Good session today, completly destroyed 525, 545 but had my troubles with 565. Did not unrack easy and it just felt damn heavy. However from the depth that I went down to, the coming up part was good so that is a positive coming out of that set. It taught my body to how react to heavy weights plus how to rebound into moving it. Granted it was not deep enough thats a different issue altogether but gaining a positive experience out of it makes it a good set. Then dropped down to 405 to relearn technique and get some blood into the legs. The single leg hamtractor was Juggernaut's idea dont know if its brillance or a result of being squat drunk but got the job done. Got a good feeling out of tonight, its only going to get better from here......

Thanks Jim, just trying to get up to 600lbs on the squat one day so I can get that monkey off my back. Each week things are falling into place with each lift so when meet day comes it will be a nice culmonation of all this fun work I'm putting in. Gotta attack with weights with no fear

Soild day the rack presses were killer, forgot how they fuck with the shoulder. Oh well gotta hammer away at my weak spots till they aren't weak. Wanted to try rep outs on bench for some kicks and to see if I could get a pump. It worked, and got an even bigger one with the smith presses. I really liked the forced reps on the pec deck, added a whole new feeling to the chest. A good soild day overall....earned that right to train arms tomorrow by what was done this week.....see youse in Jersey

I do like it, its supposed to be 2 scoops in one serving, but I split it up. I like the formula is simple but gets the job done. Yeah I got that idea from reading the Trevor Smith stuff on Beyond Faliure Training which looks like something I might give a run with come the fall. Yeah was sore a little when I woke up. Got real sore with the arm workout today doing some incline curls....the stretch killed the chest but opened up the fibers to get some new goodies

Good session today, the rotation that I am doing is working, 545 felt like 525 used to. Thats a good sign I'm getting stronger. Dont know if I was gassed at the 585 set or what but it came off the floor nicely, hit the knees and all hell broke lose. Lost tightness in my form and let her go. Got a compliment from one of the respectable trainers there (one who actually trains) telling me "thats some heavy shit there, good job" after the 585 set. Made me feel good about it. Nothig was lost in that set, I twitched struggled so something got worked. Did the rest of the stuff to help get the back bigger and the dead bigger. Next few days of training are going to be a rush, but its the shit you've gotta do to gain the uppper hand.

Thanks bro, on my back days I rotate different aspects of the deadlift to make it stronger. In essance I am training the lift without doing it. This past run was Rack Pulls, SLDL, GMs, then pulls from the floor. Taking next week to do some high rep fun stuff then back at it the following week.

Next few days of training are going to be a rush, but its the shit you've gotta do to gain the uppper hand.
solid session bro. sounds like a valient effort at 585. sticking points suck. What helped my dead was doing rack pullz just below the knee. I would only pull from the floor like once a month and it would always be max effort.

thanks, it was one of those "Oh why not" moments I tend to have a lot when training. Figured the way my logic runs with weights, no matter what happens something gets worked, whether its a full rep or not....

Good soild day today got some heavy weights in the hands to get used to handling the weight. The 300 set wasnt a total loss, I lost it about halfway up and Juggernaut guided it the rest of the way. It felt good to have that weight in my hands and I know that it will fall soon, then after 300 comes 315. Was gassed by the HS Shoulder Press so 4pps came down nicely just didnt go up. But if it makes a difference the negative was slow....haha. Moved onto calves no idea how many sets but the calves feel nice. Chest tomorrow in this marathon week

Good quailty session tonight. Had lots of speed at 275 and 315 so I am happy with that. 335 and 345 felt good and 365 was like a Buick on my chest....doesnt matter I will get it. Moved onto some steep db inclines to pack that necessary meat on. Pec Deck to stretch shit out and some abs. I wish I had a camera for the look on the person's face when I walked in with chains. She had a look of shock and actually said "Wow, those are big" I chuckled at that and went on to bench. Legs tomorrow.....I'm hungry

Calf Raise/Leg Press Superset - 2 sets of 5, 15piesx5 on last set
Soild session tonight....really felt the effects of this week tonight. So stopped at 495 since I knew going up would have been bad. Juggernaut set 2 PRs tonight in the squat, huge congrats to that monster, made it look easy. After all of the squat stuff hit some hams and got a real brilliant idea doing the calf raises. Why not do leg presses after them, why not leg press was already loaded with 12 pies so it seemed like the logical thing to do. So that offically cooked the legs, off for the next 3 days to eat, recover, recharge. Then next week get to do some BB stuff (JOY!!!).
So my chain lady was working the front desk again, this time I came walking in with both of them on my shoudlers. She looked up, shook her head, smiled and said "So you have more of them..." I just smiled back and told her yes, and the reason is because its the crazy things we do to get bigger.

Meal 5- 8oz beef, 4oz carb, 8oz veggie
Preworkout - CellPro/Torrent/Whey/Poptart
Postworkout - Same as Pre
Meal 6 - 6 whole eggs, 2pieces Ezikeal Toast, glass of milk
2 gallons water
Meathead Day:
Meal 1 - 6 eggs, cereal, shake
Meal 2 - 10 oz beef, 6oz carb
Meal 3 - 8oz fish, 6oz carb, salad (all mixed together)
Meal 4 - 10oz chicken, 6oz carb, if there is any cake/goodies laying around the office I will sample some of them to ensure its ok for human consumption
Meal 5 - Eyeball portions of meat, carbs, veggies (normally ate in a large bowl)

The squat is a very tricky exercise, takes a while to find a groove but when you do, look out it will come back stronger. The diet for me has come a long way, and this is what works for me since I dont feel all that bloated with the carbs, plus the rabbit food helps. Its a ton of protien there also no matter what the day is, gotta repair and get bigger

According to some I eat enough for a family of 4....not always a good thing. Plus I may eat more but you outlast me in the sessions.

Have fun with it, it can get pricy but stick to the basics and buy in bulk when you can. It may seem like a lot in the beginning but you'll get used to it fairly quickly....just space it 3 hrs apart

Decent night didnt go crazy with the weights kept it all good. T-bars felt damn good real soild in the movements. The weighted hypers were a good idea figured had to make it a little challenging. Decent night didnt go crazy with the weights kept it all good. T-bars felt damn good real soild in the movements. The weighted hypers were a good idea figured had to make it a little challenging. Everything was slow and controlled tonight made every rep soild and the weight feel heavier than it was. Time to grow.

Jailhouse T-bars is when you shove one end of the bar in a corner, load up the other end with pies and row with a v-bar handle under the bar. Its a tbar row however its eaiser on the nuts since the odds of the barbell smashing them Jailhouse style is minimal. Yeah the weighted hypers were brutal but a welcome change

Soild session today, felt strong in the push press and pissed I missed the 315 could not lock it out. There is always next time. The DB presses shocked the hell out of me and the clean pulls seemed like a foreign exercise to me. Thats the rust. Juggernaut did very well tonight with everything I threw at him. Once he adapted to the crazy lifts he did them with zero effort. Legs tomorrow

It is a tricky lift for sure. If your timing is off on any part of it a lot can go bad quick!

They really dont kill them that bad, I mean there is no pain just when it comes down it kinda crashes hard on my neck. Which is why I switched to the front to try and move some weight. It was a struggle and in the best efforts of not hurting myself or having the weight come back on my head I decided to rack it.

Moved over to squats and sank as deep as we could, held it for a one count then came up. This is going to help a lot in the hole and with the squat in general. Moved to do some hammies and calves because like everything they need work

Tell me about it, the leg press felt heavy at first but found a groove and pounded it out. The thing with the eating is that I am due to go food shopping, so I have really no red meat to eat....thats were the calories are.

Yeah the part that has always made it interesting with it are the stretches. As with everything flexability can become an issue. So the stretches seem like they would work wonders for me right now.....

I dont really keep track of each meal as to the macro breakdown. By 3:00PM which is my 4th meal I try to have around 2000-3000 caloires in me, about 200-250g of protein and roughly around the same in carbs. I generally shoot for on a daily average about 3500-5000 calories, protein ranges from a minium of 300-450g a day, and carbs are dependant on what I am training, but I shoot for 450-600g a day (this includes Torrent). Its a lot of eating but its worth it in the end
As for suggestions, I would shoot for at least 1.5-2g of protein per BW, carbs (depending on how sensative you are and goals) would be 1.75-3g of carbs per BW. Diversification is paramount, with carbs go for some sort of veggie at each feeding along with the normal carbs you eat. Protein gotta have some form of red meat in there, its the best way to get those cals up. Shakes are good if your in a bind, I currently only take Torrent PWO as my only shake so I eat 6 whole food meals/day. Expirement with what you have around you and what is available, but I tend to eat to the size I want to be....

Yeah gotta get big to get there one day. Its a lot easier the not measuring or counting things, we know when we have had enough food or havent. Eating a two pound steak now that is a nice sized portion.....

Felt damn good to use heavy weight again after a week off it. The 585 set moved 1" off the pins, struggled a bit knew I wasnt going to lock it out so I let it down for safety reasons. It was a great session though even with the miss, the weights were moving real nice off the pins for both Juggernaut (who had 2 PRs tonight) and I. The other work was for some upper back stuff since the lowers were a tad fried. Following this session up with some Animal Max (Van) and 5 whole eggs.
Working on that piss poor bench tomorrow

Got two weeks till pull from the floor day....and its going to be nuts. Holding and twitching with the 630 worked something if not everything ala Mike Mentzer style, haha

Standing Calf Raise - 8 sets, did the stack for 5 out of the 8 setsx15-10
Decent session, nothing to write home about, gotta get that bench up but that will come with time and consistancy. I think moving the bench to Tuesday will allow the needed work to get done. Off tomorrow then more fun stuff come Thursday

HAHA no pullups, no shit....everything was a challenge after that session. As for your bench have you switched up from barbell to db? Have you switched it from flat to incline? How much volume are you doing? I mean the bench is a tricky lift, let me know what you've been doing recently and I'll see what I can suggest.
