View Full Version : Knee Wrapping Technique
I'm just curious, cause I've been reading up on different wrapping techniques. I was thinking of getting a pair and trying them out. What technique does everyone prefer for wrapping their knees, and why?
I've seen the X, sub-X, tread, and the regular rotational wrapping. Am I missing any techniques, or are there better ones?

haha, there are techniques???
i just wrap mine around and make sure the same amount of pressure is applied to both of my knees.
but, i could be missing out if there are actually special tecniques, but i have only see guys just wrap it around, in what seems to be no real special order.
I don't think I'd call it any kind of technique. Just take the common sense approach. You're wrapping your knee for support. Figure out what areas need most of that support and wrap in a way where that area benefits most.

ive only done a few meets but start wrapping your self loosly... get use to them and then start it tighter-- you'll get to a point were you need a buddy to wrap them go get anything good out of the wraps.. helpss if you piss him off so he makes it really tight and dont worry if your legs start to go numb b4 or during thats just something else you have to get use to-- wasnt sure if that was covered as i havent read the article in a while
