Just got back from the gym and found out that Sam Byrd squatted 1107lbs at 228lbs BW!!!!
Another All-Time WR in another weight class for the Byrdman.
Congrats Sam, You're an absolute monster.

Thanks alot guys! i had alot of fun at the meet. I took it as a training day and it turned out pretty good. I took some risks and jumps i would not normally take, but its a learning process. the big meet is in aug at the IPA Pro/Am
at this meet i squatted a tough 1036 opener, missed my 2nd with 1108, then came back and smoked it on my 3rd. bench 639 just missing 672 at lockout with left arm, pulled 700 opener easy, ripped up 733 so fast it flew out of my hands, and instead of repeating it for 2480 total, i made my planned jump to 755 which would give me a 2500 total. i ripped it up hard and the bar got out in front of my and stalled at lockout. So i ended the day with my 3rd weight class WR which was the main goal, second was the 2500 total but ended up with 2448, still a 40 pound pr on the total. i really wanted to hit 1108 on my 2nd then hit 1135 on 3rd, but i played it safe and took the record.
Here is the video of the 1108. i really feel i had 1150 in me, but that will have to wait till the big meet.\
