hey guys just under 9 weeks til the europa pro. ahead of schedule by a good 3 weeks , just want to be shredded and pulling out all the stops no weeks of holding back ,, push push and keep on pushing!
will be posting pics and hopefully some small video clips on of training stay tuned!!!!!

i love this section cuz my whole 22 yrs of training and competing has always been about the journey.. the day of the show i forget but i never forget the day after day digging.. thinking about the guys skipping cardio or going half assed during workouts... i push it harder every day and sometimes havent looked my best the day of the show but the weeks heading up looked freakier and better than ever..so the day of the show is still and will always be a learning experience i have many weeks where i am totally happy how i look and dig more and more...
i think this yr is really going to be a fun , one i feel better than ever older , a little more tired than previous yrs but the passion is def there... !

I would love to train in the same building as you and pete once in a while. You and Pete are huge and really down to earth individuals. I would love to learn and pick your brains once in a while. Can you do me a favor? BigAnt (DeAngelis) asked me to give his info to Pete so that he could contact him. I guess you guys go way back, can you ask Pete to contact him?

You summed it up awesome, the outcome never really matters, its the journey thats makes you who you are... it's the part you remember while others only remember your time under lights...

well like i said i cycle carbs yr round cuz there is no ''offseason '' for us... so i will basically begin dropping my ratios weekly or bi weekly .
food wise offseason is red meat 2x a day except for high days.. chicken, and extra lean ground turkey , some shakes post workout and bed time...
as i get closer say 7-8 weeks out fish [ haddock , tilapia, cod] will come in as majority of my protein intake except for low days i reduce my red meat intake down to 1x a day then by 5 weeks out i only have red meat 2 x a week total..
there really isnt any food i avoid... i eat alot of eggs 4-5 weeks out up to 45 egg whites a day which would be 3 meals cuz it fills my belly and low fat...
i'm always treaking diet and going by feel and how i look , i have a game plan but if the look i have changes too fast i may pull back or push it a bit hardr one week then scale back to see what happens... like i said i love the journey you keep learning ...

efa's def. help promote fat loss as i hit about 7 weeks out i'll take a few efa 's with each meal , being as my fat intake is so low this is how i balance it out, i've just recently been experimenting with them last few yrs , so tweaking as i go, this yr will be most aggressive beign so far ahead of schedule..

Can you please go into a little detail how you do it---carb load-deplete-water stopping, and backsatge pump up food, just a little something-something to give us an idea how you get that tight-grainy, very full and shredded muscle look on conest day...and we know first off you gotta me in killer shape 7-10 days out...no magic last minute pill-potion to burn fat!

ok as far as last week prep , i've dropepd all the carb deplete crap... why change all you have done if you are looking on track... if it aint there the week out nothing is gonna change in a week if anything you will look worse..
so basically i keep my carbs on my low day til thurs. do my one day carb up , but i cut out sodium completely for that day...[ i water load and sodium load 2 1/2 weeks out]on fri , i reduce water intake back to what i was doing previous 2 week period and back off carbs[ usually it falls as if it was one of my medium days]..
towards the night i begin to add sodium back in via 2-3 salt packs per meal or every other meal... last meal of night , which is when water is cut off i have a big steak salty as hell and its bed time..
wake up i go by look , more carbs , salt , less water more water, i just go the mirror at that point...
i use jelly beans 20 min before stage time , there no fat high sugar content easy to eat and good as well..
i pump up very little backstage , more posing then pumping .. i tend to get burnt out if i pump too much...

theres always changes but this is a basic guidline to what i do...

We know how you diet (thanks for the insight) but does your training change when preparing for a show? Compared to when not preparing? Can you post your training routine or a previous routine you have used to give us an idea? What techniques do you incorporate to your routine? Forced reps, giants sets, rest-pause, etc......legs are my downfall so what do you recommend to bring them up?(quads, hams, calves)...

was able to meet matt dickerson last night , big mofo! now i got some eyes watching me so i better bring it come aug. in better condtion now then 3 weeks out last yr. so i am really pleased but dont worry not letting up a bit!!!!!!! jsut got a massage on my legs and man i'm soorre!but it did what i wanted alot more spearation and now i can keep the drive alive .. 4 more sessions over the next 7 weeks so i will be healthy and have more separation then in previous yrs ..
just signed up to go to comicon in late july yea kinda of a nerd , but thats where i became fasincated with muscles.. as well i am an artist so..
weighin 169-170 in am, strength is good just the nite time work session is tiring but gotta make the cash to support this crazee sport i do ..
hopefully have pics up sun or mon if we can getr the damn lighting right on the camera...

pete is doing usa's and he's banging as am i... prep is on just with work , massage school , cardio , training its a loooonng week... happy with where i'm at , just cant stop though, this is where the difference is made, just under 7 weeks now is the time to kick in even more dig deep and find the last shred of energy , fire , desire left in that tired ass body...at
i lay awake at night these days , going over what i can do more to get where i want , for some reason this yr i am really pulling out all i got , even going back to things i did back in 1998 , 10 yrs ago! some nights i do stress out , questioning if i got anything left in me or what new tricks i can pull out, its a trying process, some days i hate it other days i wouldnt have it any other way....
siighs. all this talk , just looked at the clock time to go back to work and make the cash, eat no carbs and keep thinking ''shredded''.........

you dont need to pull out any tricks from the ol' bb'ing bag....shoot, your arent even that old to have a bb'ing bag of tricks yet, are you? LOL...you look amazing and you will look even more amazing at this show. Your right though about it being a process..one that tries every ounce of blood, sweat and tears you got left in you and that is what I love the most about show prep. Its what you pull out of you..digging deep and bringing your heart and soul into it all.

Some people and I had a discussion about sports the other day...and of course bb'ing was quickly tossed onto the back burner behind football, baseball...even euro football and rugby! Long story short..I tried to make the point of how yes, all those other sports take skill and technique and talent...and so does bb'ing, but bb'ing to me is more of a personal agenda...its not like you have a team to push and pull you to a goal, to even afford you some slack, as in these other sports. BB'ing is between YOU and YOU...inside and out. You have to do all the work with your mind and with your body...not just running a gameplan, like a blueprint for a play on the field...its not like that for us. People just dont get it.

You do your thing man...you got the right stuff. Less than 7 weeks and Im excited for you. All these shows and Im getting an itch too...but Im waiting it out.

Keep at it, you'll do it. You clearly can push through anything for a show prep and get your meals in with everything going on. Thats impressive and you've earned my respect with that. 7 weeks until a trophy. Stay Strong.

thx guys for the words of encouragement, just some days are tough, thankfully today is a high day and i had 2 cancelations so took advantage of the time and took a good nap feel rested to go crush back in an hr...
picking up mr olympia around 345pm for his bi weekly massage, thats right he flys in and and flys out .. i get him to our guy to save on the crashy cab prices .. good to catch up with an old and long standing friend on a one to one level, you wouldnt believe how hard it is to get one on one time with him , he's crazee busy. i'm happy to call him a friend as he always returns my calls and texts ..
looked tight today in midsection skin is really thin, so its a definite modivator, i began eating fish this wek pretty much 4 meals a day except for low days i take in a bit more extra lean ground turkey and one meal of red meat on those days.. the fish isnt bad as its a nice change and kinda makes me feel lighter, in a pos. way...

ok time to go train crush back 18 sets, bent overs ,t-bars, 3/4 deads, one arms, and pull downs.. wiiiideee!!!!

Hammer that back!!! What a great post. VERY informative! Thanks a lot and best of luck at the Europa!!! I'm 3 weeks out from the Masters Nats then done for the year! Then it's time to make it even better. It's a never ending story right?! Safe travels with Mr. O. How cool is that!.....for us hacks anyway.....LOL!!!!

i like cod the best the the amount i eat a week kills my food bill, so right now i'm eating tilapia, sometimes red snapper and mahi mahi is on sale ..but eating 40-50 ounces a day will add up in a very big way...
i've known jay since way back in the early 90's hes jay to me not mr olympia he hasnt changed one bit , if anything he's more giving , always there for advice in the bbing world business wise or training nutrition, he's just really laid back and people take it wrong.. he is a funny mofo , just need to get to know him...

I usa a cajun spice of some type [anything spicy adds to fat burning ] then i sued the pan if under tiem restraint but it stinks up the house like crazee, so i use the grill 90% of the time... i cook it pretty god i like some crunchyness to it ...

Thats really cool to hear. Sometimes in the videos he comes across as a little dull, glad to see he's not. Your lucky to know him and be able to get that 1:1 "human" time, haha.

thanx for the feedback, i really debated putting the pics up , i look alot better in person , friends say the pics do you no justice, so i hesitated posting them , but i promised you guys so here are some... mght get pete to use his camera the lighting is off on mine for some reason..
def on point , the fish has kicked in energy wise , just eating it for afew days i am leaner but , my energy level has dropped...
going to train a client then , LEGS! its going to be a hot one , but i love the heat[ no ac in the gym]

I think its like that for most people..pics never really show it all..lighting can be off for one and sometimes a flash can just blank out a lot of definition but we can clearly see your looking fantastic. I can only imagine what your looking like in person! You got one of the best physiques out there IMO.

anytime lunatic, i was pretty gassed when i got home though, quads really cramped up for some reason , the heat has def., took a toll on me ,so i have to pay close attention to my water intake better, still getting in 1.5- 2 g just need better electrolyes...

anytime lunatic, i was pretty gassed when i got home though, quads really cramped up for some reason , the heat has def., took a toll on me ,so i have to pay close attention to my water intake better, still getting in 1.5- 2 g just need better electrolyes...

Let me tell ya, the Freak looks amazing... much, much better than the pics show! The pics dont come close to showing how great he looks already. I know first hand how hard he works and the drive he has...no one else Ive seen in this sport can keep up with him, not even Mr O! No lie!! :)

feeling good today, after looking at pictures of the houston show i got really burned up, i wasnt aware there would be a 202 class there, if i knew i could of jumped in it and tested the waters and have 6 weeks to tweak anything if need be, and the line up , i really think i could of pushed into the top 3 qualifying myself for a shot in the showdown at the o,but u never know who will show up at a show right, whats ifs dont matter, its what are you going to do now that matters.. so i'll plug even harder each day, dig a little deeper each set and stay consistent with the diet / cardio..
the fire is in my belly , some days i feel like ass , others remind me what i am doing this all for ,regardless of the outcome , i just want a better physique on stage come aug 15th..!!!!!!!!!!!

another tired low day ... napping in my car whenever i can ... these are the days you know you're in shape or getting there... if you feel like shit you look great.. 5 weeks this fri and alot more to come hungrier than evr now , starting to see condionting in areas i have never seen , the looks i get in the gym, are surprised looks but they dont say anything , which is fine .. the looks are keeping me going... still got #2 cardio session to go and i am dreading it but , the fire i got seeing the houston pics is in my head.. i have to be better than ever .. hungry hungry!!!!!!!

so 3rd day on lower carbs work had been long and hard... today is def the worst day in awhile, still have 1 session left and training needs to be done .. but it will get done...
had a funny thing to tell u guys i was sent a fed ex yesterday am to be drug tested by ifbb.. we are all subject to being tested at anytime random.. so i had to go take the pee test... i just wish they'd post results to show everyone ...
one day closer to getting shredded....

havent written in a few days... been battling a possible injury .. i did chest mon and tues am woke up with severe shoulder pain... its no rotator cuff or teat or anything ,, its just tight tight muscles..
saw my massage therapist ,[the one jay uses as well] he really worked it over and it was like 8 different areas causing it .. we figured out the fri before i had a long day and got dehydrated and really locked up my body...
the massage helped as i went yesterday, but still woke up barely able to put my shirt on...i called a favor in to my ART therapist, who can fix wonders and he got me in this am.. he did loosen up alot just in alot of pain due to 2 back to back bodyworks..i go back next week regardles if it gets better to prevent it returning or getting worse..
just cant train or not sure if i can..stressing me out .. i've been lucky with minimal injuries or set backs... with 4 1/2 weeks this is very tough on me .. i dont give up.. i look for solutions , but the solution at this point is a waiting game...just tough for me to sit around so to speak.. hoping i can get in something tomorrow , diet is on , cardio is on, we'll see i guess.. i'm usually an intense type of guy with this shit... first time i've felt depressed i ihink ever during a prep.. just not sure whats what.. will keep u guys informed... sorry some the sappy bullshit,just keeping it real... just know if i can beat i'll have both guns blazing.. and will hit the stage looking great..

about 90% full range minimal pain so ready to rock! i got massages lined up to the show to keep it from flaring up and keep me looser than ever so.. works well i have 2 next week then 2 the week after different type of therapists so they 'll keep me healthy...
getting alot leaner! my energy level it total shit , but that just means i'm on target.. i take naps inbetween clients as much as possible...
got shoulders in 30 minutes or so , fired up that i can go all out on them . love shoulder training the intensity it awesome... its a good day, good week , just gona plug through a few more and show the package!

looking to get pics either sunday or monday, after we carb up will def post them for u guys !

been looking at the 202 competition WHEEEEWWW gona be a stacked class.. everyone is looking good, gotta bring the ''a'' game... my waist hasnt been this small since i was 28 so pumped on that.. drop the extra water and hope my x frame stands out.. last yr it helped and i know i am in better shape, close friends said i've never looked this good so i cant complain .. judges will judge, but pictures dont lie...
owe and just to throw this out.. any of you animals attending the show, make sure u come up to me and say hi.. i am told i lookk unapproachable.. but i am just quiet , and kinda shy at times.. but please come say hi get pics whatever ... i'm going solo so , meeting new people is always good!

got a text from a friend who picked up latest ironman , i have a 6 page chest layout! and they put my name on the cover too! always great to get exposure near contest time, very appreciative to ironman for al the coverage they have gave me over the past 9 yrs...
i acutally shoot with them this coming tues , always get some great shots back from them... there lighting is the best...
this sat i am carbing up HIGH! 7-800 carbs then come sunday another 4-600 depending on how sat goes... this will give us an idea how hard i can push it without spilling over come the final prep days.. very excited carb day whoo hoo..

Thanks, Freak. I was actually reading that Iron Man today. You looked good in it and what you said made sense. I do a similar version to your bench press, but I do a wide grip instead of a closer grip, like yours.

so we're one week out , i'm excited to see what happens this weekend at the tampa pro, it'll give me a good idea what i am up against as most will go on next week to the europa ..
very tight this week!, today is last carb up day til i arrive in dallas on weds. so i'll go up as high as 800 today back down to 60 for the next 4 days and flatten back out...
most of the weekend i 'll be slowly packing my 3 bags so as weds am comes i am confident i have all my stuff as i can double check my bags...
my energy level is really shitty constantly apologizing to my clients as i need to sit down while training them, thank god i have kick ass clients!
the following weekend here in san diego my bro who owns 619muscle is having a parking lot bash... mr olympia will be there signing autographs, i hear flex lewis will be there, troy alves, too.. its going to be a fun weekend seeing everyone. i'll be still dieting as i have a few more photo shoots in the upcoming weeks , so i'll still be in tip top shape... i believe some of the animal crew are planning a trip there for a little barbell club bashing... hmm wonder whos going to try and do legs with me ? lol..
ok off to take a small nap, and keep this body resting....

I watched Derik's DVD and let me tell you his training is insane. His leg day alone would cripple most people. To see him squat 405 for 30 reps is amazing and this is only part of what he does on leg day. You'll know why they call him the Freak after you see this.

ok well its monday,2 days after the show... rather give the , ''i felt good about my prep, could of done a few things different the competition was great speech, i figured i'd brak down my days leading up to the show, with my thoughts , feelings etc.

so we'll start off with tues..

tues,

as this day came, i seemed very anxious, not nervous , but i just wanted to get to dallas and settle in...it was a very different anxious than previous yrs, maybe i just wanted to get away , all i know is i had ants in my pants to get out of cali..i had 6 clients this day , luckily i pretty much packed all my gear to go...we'll get to that as this day goes on..asthe day went , my clients who are great, gave me alot of praise and best wishes, which if you know my makes me feel real uncomfortable, i dont do well with compliments, i just smiled and thanked them, but it just seems to make me more anxious, i dont know maybe i feel like i'll let them down if i dont perform up to there expectations of me ... 4 pm came and it was my last workout before i left for dallas, it was shoulders, and i could tell i was depleted , EVERYTHING felt heavy, i just had to crank the tunes and bang through it and get back home...the workout was nothing to write about ,i did what was needed and got out of the gym asap..
3 sessions left with clients and i'd be done.. it was the longest 3 hrs ! jesus, i was sitting 80% of the time while training clients, i was tired period.. 8 pm came and now it was time to double check the bags for all my prep stuff.. so here was my list..

8 lbs of yams
2 loafs of ezkeil no sodium bread
huge bag of oatmeal,
40 oz of fish
1 lb redmeat
almonds
bag of vitargo
toaster
box of no sodium low fat granola
bag of condiments[ ie. equal, ms dash, etc]

this was just my food, then i had warm up outfits, sheets [soyou dont stain the hotels sheets and get charged up the ass] lounging clothes , a nice outfit to go out to eat in after the show.. got what a bitch to pack for just for 4 days..

so i finished at 1030 and literally crashed...

weds. am.

up at 730 CARB UP TIME! whoo hoo..

1 1/4 cups of oats to start off... with 4 oz fish... mmmmmm the goal was 900 carbs 180 protein and jsut about 2 gallons of water..
so i had two more meals spread out before my plane took off.. one with a 10 oz ya and another oatmeal serving... in between each meal i was taking in 30 gmd of vitargo to continue the filling out process... as 1130 came my friend arrived who was taking me to the airport and watchin my little boy [ my dog] brixx for the time i was away.. its very tough leaving my dog , he is my best friend , a stacked little brindle french bulldog...so i was off to dallas... this flight had to be one of my best flights in a long time everything just seemed to go smooth , had plenty of room and was able to snooze a bit on plane.. i def. noticed my anxiety had decreased while on plane .. i think i realized, i finally made it to the end..
i got to hotel with no trouble checked in quickly and settled into room with no trouble... at this time i checked my list again and had togo get water... this meant a trip to the grocery store.. , 20$ later i 'm back with 2 gallons .. lol ahh the money you spend on these shows.. lol
for the rest of the night i continued to eat , sleep and watch the olympics.. i was able to get in a little workout in the gym to flush in some of these carbs into the muscle.. it def. helps , you feel so much less sluggish.. got to pose a bit down in some good lighting , which helped my confidence , i liked what i saw after getting in about 700 of the 900 carbs i still had a flat belly but began to look a bit fuller then the previous flat days..
by 1 am dallas time i was ready for bed, final #"s were 180 protein 920 carbs....and you know what i was still hungry, 900 felt like nothing.. damn..


i'll pick up with thurs tomorrow where Pete Ciccone and his girl MERIZA DEGUZMAN [ who was competing in figure] come in from san diego and i have some support and get a nice visit from animal board members natural guy and big G DIESEL! til then hope u enjoyed the read..!

kinda tired tonight so we'll cover thurs.

thurs..

so upon wake up i continued my carb up, looking at ging up to roughly 550-600 carbs.. i figuredby the time pete and meriza got here that would be a good time for pete to look at me , he hadnt seen me since tues so he's def notice if i'd filled out that much..
i did notice as the morning went on i was extremlt tired,i would have to lay down after each meal and would doze off for at least a 1/2 an hour.. def different yrs. past...i usually cant sit still so it good to just relax and snooze..noon time came and i met pete and meriza down in the lobby,we were able to get them a room on same floor ,which was good cuz we bought a e to share so we wouldnt have to trek down to the gym every few hrs to heat up food.....i let them settle in and just went back to room , luckily the olympics were on so i had something to occupy my mind...
about pm i met meriza and pete in the gym to get a little workout in.. we planned this to flush the carbs in to m muscles. i basically did like 4- 5 sets per bodypart and did , slow contracting reps.. i was able to break a sweat which was good , any water coming out at this time was a good thing... after a few guys left meriza and i stripped down and posed ..[ i dont like others , when your this close it becomes a mental game, ] i was really liking what i saw , as was pete, he said i was just about full which i agreed and bascially cut my next 2 meals in half carb wise..
as i was headin up i got a text from eric [natural guy] he was going to stop by and pick up a dvd i said i would bring.. soon after he and big G diesel showed up and we shot the shit for awhile .. eric got a kick out of all the food on my table.. good thing he didnt come the day earlier , there was alot more lol.. it was cool shooting the breeze with these too, for one they are east coast boys which are my kind of guys, but more so they just have a good vibe, made me feel good , they just had good words to say and you know it was genuine.. i am noticing as i get older , u need to be surrounded by pos. people... i have had alot of neg ones and it does effect you who you keep company with....
as the left i planned on getting to bed early so i'd be rested for the big day fri nite.. i was questioning where my anxiety went so i figured get a good sleep so this calm feeling would continue... if your nerves are up , your coritsol level rises and you can hold water.. this i what i wanted to avoid.. so bed time was soon enough for me ....

ok guys have to get to bed, i have been getting up at 4 since i have been back and doing 10 hr days , body is still out of wack from the show so need to rest as i have another 3 days of work , and 2 massage session added in as of today, good money but very tiring ...

ok guys sorry for the delay friday

FRIDAY THE BIG DAY!

ok so i wake up , tired! cant believe it , usually i cant sleep i was so tired, so stripped down and took a look , ok , time to dry out a bit , full enough now just cruise til showtime.. but first have to go get sprayed for the second time[ sorry didnt mention that last night..]
so got down a meal prepared to get get sprayed..
down in jan tana's room its packed house , and yes the ''house'' was there too lol we were getting sprayed at the same time.. he was white as ghost the night before now he looked all bronzed up eric was in shape!
so headed back up , packed bag and meals then, u guessed it nap time... noon time came and it was time to head down to the meeting .. 57 competitors.. how can u not be nervous with that many jesus..!there ended up being 26 in my class, after looking over everyone , i had my self in the top 10 about 9- or 10th based on what i saw... i skipped the open for good reason, i dont feel like being wallpaper for the stage..
usually the last 5 hrs i kinda bug out , but noticed the more i am alone the better, i just need to relax and not over analyze the prep.. when 4 pm came i began to get ready to head over.. took one last look and liked what i saw drier and looking tight good feeling..
got to the venue, took a walk over to animal booth and got some good lucks from g-diesel and eric, genuine guys , thanx g and e, meant alot your support the whole weekend...
backstage everyone is chill, its def different from a national show, everyone is laughing and talking , at usa's and nationals its all business and stress, def like the pro atmosphere better...
got to hang with eric a bit , for a first show he was def. relaxed good for him, thats what u need to be chiill but for good reason he looked great!

so we ended up going on around 8ish , i stripped down and saw a slight layer of water on me , no stress just pump and sweat it out , some did come out but not all, i''m def better in the shows where prejudging is in the am the , pm is a crap shoot for me , jay says he's better in pm prejudging , so it looks like we're all different..

from the call outs i saw myself about 11-13 , not disappointed as i saw the guys ahead of me were great,i was in the top 15 and that was the first hurdle...did notice i still give away a good 20lbs , i have to deal with that but , did notice it ..
didnt stray from diet after , just went for a good fish meal and veggies, too kit very easy on water as i wasnt as dry as i hoped.. for next yr i will go back to 2006 water deplete,, it seemed to work the best.... its alot less but i look alot drier..
ended up going to bed about midnight. whew.. these things never get done early, btw the fitness girls were doing there routines when i was going to bed.. crazeee....

sat. is coming .. = confused and disappointed.. whats new....

just decreased water alot more.. mistake i did in 2006 was not eating enough.. so in 2009 i'll do the water depletion i did in 2006 and the carb loading i did in 2008, just have to watch the 2nd day of loading might have to cut back a bit but not much....

the show journey comes to an end...


so sat. comes , i was happy that the show started so early, to wait all day is such a pain in the ass... so got up, went and had breakfast, some eggs , oats and a few pieces of fruit, good to eat a fresh meal..
now not knowing where i was i kept water to a minimum. i figured i was in top 15 so i would be doing my routine and didnt want to look bloated or worse than prejudging... hung out with pete and meriza and then headed to get sprayed ..... again [ got a touch up] i was a little ansty so i headed over to the venue early , figured i'd walk the expo say hi to people i havent seen for awhile..
so a few hours go by i'm backstage and the show is beggining to start... fitness routines were up first so i began loosening up with my head phones on listening to my routine... 30 min. goes by and the expediator comes over to announce the top ''10'' ? i just smiles... took off headphones and began packing my shit.. they cut the 15 to 10 due to the size of the show..most guys were pisssssseddd .. me seen it a few times already.. so put on a light layer of oil went out did my good pose and took a walk to the bathroom... at this time i texted , a few clients , friends parents who were watching the broadcast i wont be doing my routine.. i didnt want them wasting anymore of there sat afternoon....
i went to the audience sat alone and watched a bit of the show.. but , i just coudlnt do it anymore... i took a walk over to the grappling and watched it for like 2 hrs.. i used ot coach wrestling so it was enjoyable to watch.. i mean its simple , pin , submit , outscore... black and white.. the opposite of bbing...
as the hrs went by friends were checking on me... i couldnt repsond.. i dont like to open up , esp when i feel i disappointed others... when meriza texted, i told her to tell the others i'm fine just need time alone....
i was able to relax and bit and compose myself to go see others.... it was over , you did you best, whats done is done...
we all headed back to the hotel to shower and such .. pete , meriza and i were going to a steakhouse.. everyone kept asking if we were going to the afterparty, i was glad pete and meriza didnt want to go.. thats def not my crowd...
at the steak house we saw the house eric with his family .. hes 28 yrs old.. i remember at 28 , thats when i started kicking ass at the national level in the npc.. i remember how excited i was, the high i was on, i could see it in eric's eyes... me , i'm tired, confused... where is my path going ...
upon heading back to hotel , i texted back everyone that was trying to get hold of me , thanked them and apologized for being so quiet.. most know me so they understood.. damn stubborness i have..
i did remember this before bed, i remember saying out loud... ...'' another journey has ended'' .. i just dont remember if i was happy or not....


well there is my 4 day trip...

next up i'' reflect how i've been since sunday coming back from show.. rebounding , head games, photo shoot drama.. and its still going on now..

thanx to evryone lending there support , it does make a diff. , the littliest words can make a huge impact.. thanx guys and gals...

took 2 days off from diet, back on diet hard 60 gms a day hard cardio still.. 2-3 shoots left.. one the 12th with ironman for a 2nd time and 2 others guys in the business, the other 2 have yet to give me a date of shooting ,they better hurry up.. this body needs rest... Then its back to what i love to do.. train hard, and continue to build my artwork...
