good day, this may seem like a stupid question to some but i need some help with this.

Ok i started my cut diet today, on low carb days i consume 2500calories coming from 50% protein, 30 % carbs, 20% fats. now i've read a couple of articles in regards to refeeds and carb cycling etc and they say do 3 days moderate/low carb days and 1 day high carb day and then repeat (i dont believe in a no carb day,sorry i am just a bit stubborn on that one but some may agree some may not agree) now what if i was to on the 4th day keep my calories at 2500 calories but just switch up the ratio increasing my carbs? so on day 4 do 2500calories but say 30% protein, 50% carbs and 20% fats? this would mean on low days i would consume 180grams of carbs and then high days i would consume +/- 330 grams of carbs? my lean mass is about 90kg so i would still be consuming about 2 grams of protein per kg of body weight on high carb days and about 3.3grams per kg of bodyweight on low carb days

so it would look like this :

monday 307Protein 185.5carbs 53.1fats
tuesday 164protein 329.5carbs 47.1fats
wednesday 307Protein 185.5carbs 53.1fats
thurday 307Protein 185.5carbs 53.1fats

you may ask why i have set days on which i have my high carb days? those are the days that i train a body part that i feel is lacking, tuesday is chest day and friday is arms.

please can u crit me on this as i would really like to know your opinions. thanks a million

x2, I understand carb cycling, but not protein cycling, you need the same amount of protein on both on and off days

ok well i thought it would be a good idea to keep the calorie deficit, so ok i need to change it where i keep the protein intake high...

yeah that's what I would do... except that, the plan looks ok to me... if you happen to feel too hungry and having too many cravings increase your fat intake slightly - that's what I did when I was carb cycling, though my carbs were lower (100 on low days and 300 on high days)

ummm ok well lets see,if i do low carb days, such as 100carbs, i would be consuming 40grams post work out from vitargo, so would i split 60grams of carbs between pre work out and breakfast? so like 50grams of oats for breakfast and 50grams of oats pre work out? and then on non training days sub the carbs from my post work out shake for starchy carbs?

ok i've done some reworking it will be low carb days 300grams protein 120grams carbs (including post work out shake) and high carb days 300grams protein and 330grams carbs.

what do u think of that idea?

now another question simpleguy,when u were doing your carb cycle,did u stop having carbs after a certain time in the day? and if so on your high carb day did u still strict the time of the carbs? so have 300grams of carbs berfore 4pm?

on low carb days yes, I would have my carbs in my first 2-3 meals (out of 6-7)... on high carb days I would have carbs with every meal except the last one...

oooooooh ok cool,i have been doing the same sort've thing, this week being my first week of carb cycling monday was 180 grams,tuesday 300 grams wednesday 120,thursday 150 and tomorrow will be 300 again followed by 2 days of 120 and then monday 150 etc etc, on the 300gram days i keep all my carbs to 5 out of my 7 meals....hope its gonna work for me :)
