I want to maintain body weight, while cutting down to 9% BF. I run a lot and lift 5 days/wk. Suggestions? i'm already on animal pak and animal cuts.

I'd add Pump preworkout and Nitro post. Pump to boost your strength and optimize gym performance even when in caloric deficit and Nitro to help you maintain lean mass. Peace, G

that's what i had been thinking. what's the functional difference between Nitro and Nitro-G? in other words, when should someone use Nitro, and when should someone use Nitro-G?
brennan
i think the main functional difference is Nitro G is technically for after your workout and Nitro is a product to be used somewhere around the day. they are similar though except of course one is liquid the other tabs.

Nitro is strictly amino acids in capsule form, where as Nitro G is a powdered mix consisting of the same aminos with dextrose and carbs thrown in.
The general consensus is that Nitro G is a better post-workout supp because of the carbs, but I generally use Nitro G during my workout.
Good luck man, if you have any more questions, feel free to shoot me or another one of the mods a question. FreakShow
PS. If you are cutting, you might want to avoid Nitro G simply because of the sugars it contains and stick with Nitro, but of course its up to you and how your body reacts.

I thought that PAK was aminos? Is Nitro additional aminos? Or should I be taking one or both?
The Pak was made to cover the basic nutrition foundation, vitamins, minerals, EFA's, etc. and yeah it's got some amino's in it, but Nitro/Nitro G were more specifically made as amino supps, based off the same types/amounts of the aminos in muscle, and have more in them

Animal Pak has a general blend of amino acids. Animal Nitro and Nitro G are EAAs, or essential amino acids. Think of Nitro as a targeted group of aminos ideal for pre- and post-workout, when the body needs essential amino acids.

ok... question: what do you guys think of Universal's Storm product? i've heard good things. if i were going to incorporate this into a stack, how should i do it? i was thinking:
Animal Pak
Animal Cuts (cycled, of course)
Animal Pump (pre-workout)
Storm (post-workout)
what do you think?

The Storm would be a great supp to add into the mix to really help maximize your gains and unlike conventional creatine mono, it doesnt retain all the water. If you are going to add the Storm and Nitro too, then you need to take the Nitro and Storm immediately after you get done with training. Yes, you can take them together. But if you are not going to use the Nitro then you are just going to take the Storm after you get done training.
