Alright bros, quesiton is pretty obvious. Should I try it out or is it just a waste. I can buy 2 kg over here cheap now, so i was thinking about maybe trying it but would like some feedback from ya'll.
On the site i was goign to buy it from it says:
-Help you build muscle tissue
-Faster recovery
-Stimulates Growth Hormone (GH)
-Increase cellvolume
Is this true or a load of bullshit?
Hope to get some feedback.
Peace out, IronHouse

What up man...Glutamine is amazing ive been taking it for about 2 years now...its a natural AA found in skelital muscle..it boosts your immune system..it prevents catabilisim (losing muscle) plus it does everything you stated....its good its cheap its a must....i take 10 mg a day no more then that and i mix my first serving in the morning with juice then the other teaspoon in your post workout shake...most of them you dont even taste....hope this helps bro

yeah I swear by glutamine bro'--I started it about a year back when I heard it brings faster recovery, helps fight ilnesses due to lowered immunity from training, and neutralizes fatigue toxins during your workout
I put it in preWO and found my endurance go through the roof, more sets, more reps, more intensity--hey it might have been placebo effect but fuck it--in my opinion it's one of the most important elements of my nutrition I add it to my shakes AM, PreWO, PostWO, and PM...

Glutamine has fallen out of favor in some circles, but I still use it in every postworkout shake. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Peace, G
Just wanted to get everyones thoughts on L-Glutamine. Do you use it? How often do you cycle it and how long? And the biggest question of all, do you think supplementing with it works?
FYI: This should be posted in the Supplements section.
I use it daily. Glutamine does not need to be cycled.
I take it before training after training and at bedtime.
Here is a link that will explain the bennifets of Glutamine. Hope this helps.

i rate this stuff bigtime, the recover quicker, my muscle soreness is never as bad and its pretty cheap.
10 grams a day over 2 doses is how i take it, one with post workout shake and one before bed.

I appreciate the feedback and sorry about not putting this thread in the supplements section, I am still new and figuring out the layout of the site.

Never really supplemented with Glutamine before. I guess I should see what all the fuss is about.

I add 10g of glutamine to my postworkout shake... While it may not be in vogue with the egg head set, I know many big dudes who swear by it. In my opinion it is a great product for promoting recovery post workout. Peace, G

I take it postworkout and again before bed. If I didn't think it worked I wouldn't take it. I need all the help I can get.

I take EAA Stack by Universal Nutrition, which is the 9 essential amino acids that your body cannot synthesize on its own. There's no glutamine in it, but after a workout it gets your body anabolic MUCH faster than a whey protein shake. The aminos are uncoupled, unlike a whole whey protein, which is composed of coupled amino acids. Therefore, your body doesn't have to break the aminos down and they can be shuttled straight to your muscles.
I'm on my 3rd container and will probably never leave it. My recovery time is way down, I'm less sore, and I'm pushing a little more weight than I was before on most of my lifts. It's definatly a product you should consider, I highly reccommend it.
thnx bro i think i'll give it a try but i have to wait for one of my friends to go to the states because i live in egypt and i pay alot of money for the pak it costs me 400 pounds which is about 80 bucks. thnx for advice

Use the search function bro', we have talked a shitload about glutamine.
From my experience I have noticed two things.
1. When I take less than 10 grams, I am sore as shit the next day.
2. When I take more than 10 grams, I am feeling much better.
Verdict: Give it a try and some time and use no less than 10 grams.
Peace
BIG45s
am not of my mind peter its just that there is only one distributor here in egypt and its the price he sets so it just sucks

I agree 100% Big45s...definetly have to give it a little time and the recovery is much better...still a little sore but not as bad as when I don't take it.

EAA Stack ? Is it like ANimal Nitro ?
Basically. Nitro is like BCAA Stack, EAA Stack, and a few vitamins and minerals rolled into one, and Nitro G is the same thing except it comes with dextrose in it. I just can't hack the price of either yet. I get my EAA Stack from DPS Nutrition for about $18 bucks with $4.90 for shipping and it does me just fine.
