View Full Version : Put Some Cinnamon on those Oats!!!

I was intrigued when I recently found out that cinnamon aids in bad breath, can prevent stomach ulcers, and can even help control blood sugar levels. After doing a little online reading I found several articles that supported this conclusion, as well as learning it can lower LDL along many other benefits! I always loved the taste of it and have been using it on my oats for years, but I never knew it had such health benefits! Here are two of the websites I looked at. yeah, cinnamon acts somewhat like a gda, thus helping regulate your blood sugar...

i read that in a book by dr warren wiley awhile back and have been throwing it on anything that might taste good since.

Just started on a CINNAMON kick... I mix it (and Equal) in with my egg whites and make an omelet like.... It's like french toast without the carbs!!!

Today,
I tossed my eggs, oats, cinnamon, all together after I cooked them. Well basically I added cinnamon to my eggs, scrambled them, then added some to my oats and cooked them too. Then added them together and tossed some sugar free syrup in there too.

It wasnt something Id do daily, but it was a good change of pace, which I needed big time.
