Teaches you to accelerate your lift, build strong lockout. As the bar gets further from the ground, the resistance becomes much greater.

what do you mean chain training? Like powerlifting chain? or are you talking about something else?

For powerlifting, chain is used to add weight as the bar moves up, and lessen at the bottom.

Thanx for the threads bros! I have done a little more research on chain training. And by chain training, I mean powerlifting chain training. I have been doing it for the past two weeks and can really see a difference in my bench! I used to only be able to rep 225 anywhere from 4 to 6 times for 4 sets. Now, after adding chains to the bench that are about 18 pounds a peice, and working with those with a spotter, I can rep out 8 to 10 reps for 4 sets! The weight just seems so much more lighter! Maybe its a mind thing, hell I dont know. But it worked for me. I havent tryed my max bench yet to see if it had went up, but I will be soon and when I do I will post another thread to let ya know if there is any change. But for rightnow brothers im telling ya, chain training will help out on you bench weight!!
