are there any contests where u can choose to only bench or only deadlift? i would liek to compete but my squat is unimpressive at this point compared to other ppl my size. it would be cool do only do deadlift because i would be at close to 3x bodyweight when im at where i plan to be in a few months as far as weight/size. I guess im not really ready to compete in bench either since ive never used a pause and could prolly do much less w/ one, and i have laid off bench lately. Which also brings me to my next point, if there are any drug tested ones. i was just wondering if they even existed, i don't want to go into something where id get smoked

hmm i might do that. depends if im enrolled in school or not. id rather do a raw one too so not every1 wears a suit. the suits kinda ruin the sport imo.

God knows I'm a true novice when it comes to powerlifting, but the contests I've seen with bench and/or deadlift are sometimes called push-pull comps. The Western States Fire and Police Olympics here in Boise this month have a push-pull PL event where you can do one or the other. Not sure if that helps.
