Whats up guys.
Just finished my first cycle of m-staks and I must say it was rather intresting.
I was always in a go to the gym mood. Always wanting to increase my weight.
I did accomplish my goal of lifting more, but my just looking at me you could never
tell I have been working out. I didn't gain much weight that is. I am a student/full time worker so I don't have much time/money to fix high cal meals on a regular basis. Any suggestions.

ive had the same problem weights go up buit see no results..try switching rep ranges to 8-12 range. i too dont have enough time for all the cals so get 5-6 small meals in and try gettin whey and casein proteins to drink for more gains. i went from 120 to 152 (still too small) cause i drank my shakes during school and all

When your on a schedule like that shakes can be very beneficial. Start making shakes with 2 cups milk, between 1/2 to 1 cup oats, 2 scoops whey, etc. You can drink those several times a day when u cant sit down for a meal. I think everyone would be able to help you more if you were able to give us some sort of schedule and tell everyone when you would be able to sit down for a meal, even if it is infrequently. Anything can be done if you really want it enough so you can accomplish your goals no matter what your schedule is if u just put your mind to it.

bro...you gotta fine time to eat...and eat often and big...its either eat big or not grow....its what this lifestyle is...with or without sups....you gotta eat to maintain at least what you have. I had a financial slump for a few months...lost all sups.....no dough for sups....but did eat as good as I could...and even had trouble finding food at one point...yea...you hit bottom sometimes and it hurts...but the upswing is sweet...and I did loose about 8 pounds...but not muscle....I ate good lean foods...raw at times like a friggen vegan...and was able to keep my shit rolling.....bud...its all in the heart...you have the nuts to make shit happen or not. Its hard to stare in the mirror and see no growth...but look here...you were standing on your flesh legs...not wooden ones...you were able to see with your eyes...not feel the brail...you are able to take sups....some fight for basic food......you hang tough bro...dont mean to sound harsh...dont think growth is beyond your reach....its your choice....you gotta eat......the phrase I read from I believe it was Machine was..."the difference between the freek and the flock is...the fork"...in other words....us freaks have to eat big...or just be part of the flock.....

It is typical to gain strength and not grow. It's just all part of the process. It takes a TON of strength gains before seeing any kind of significant growth. Part of the reason is because strength doesn't always mean growth, it also means strengthening and coniditioning your joints and ligaments for heavier loads. Of course as others have posted diet plays a big role too. In simple terms you have to eat big to get big. Not only does your diet play a big role, but time is also another factor. It takes a fuck load of time to see serious results. Unless you shoot up some roids you're not gonna see big gains within a short period of time, and even then it still takes hard work. To summarize, strength gains don't always=mass gains, it takes A LOT of strength gained before you'll see significant mass gains, diet must intact, and it's takes a long fucking time.

I work full time and go to school full time but I carry a huge lunchbox. Go to walmart and get some family lunchbag. lots of ice packs and carry your shit. Lately i carry 2 cliff bars, hot sauce, utensils, triscuits, a sandwich, cottage cheese with pineapples, bananas, boiled eggs, a small rubbermaid jug for milk, a small rubbermaid container for protein, and a shaker. The big bag is where its at. I eat in class who gives a shit. You gotta eat a ton if your a big guy and even more if your smaller. Eating can make the biggest difference one of the guys that got me into lifting used to be at 140 and was a bag of bones now hes around 230 and fucking brutal.

Yea food is really key. 2.5 years ago i was 130 at 6 feet. Now 'im 195 at 6 2. It takes time and it can be hard but in the end it is well worth it.

k1usa said it all. You MUST eat, regardless of your appetite. Most people eat because they're hungry. If you're trying to gain, you should never again allow yourself to even get hungry. Eat, then eat, then eat some more. Eventually, the more food you consume, the more you'll want - that's how you increase your appetite.

O yea I forgot to mention too that uniliver has digestive enzymes and a shit load of b vitamins and also helps stimulates appetite. And as hercules said in a well put post, once you start eating big you eventually train your metabolism to take in the surplus with no problems.

CHEW GUM INBETWEEN MEALS
Chewing gum activates digestive juices in your stomach to empty it quickly making you feel hungry quicker. On "good days" i eat every hour and half when chewing gum.

Some days chewing gum will not work but most of the days it does.

NOTE: YOU ALWAYS NEED TO FORCE YOUSELF TO EAT, ESPECIALLY WHEN ON M-STAK. M-STAK TURNS FOOD INTO MUSCLE QUICKLY SO EAT MORE!!!!

Eating smaller meals helped me. When you eat three or four meals, and they're bigger, your body slows it's metabolism down. Eat twice as often, but half as much at a sitting, and maybe throw in a little cardio in the mornings, and you'll find that your metabolism will start ramping up and you'll begin to want to eat more.
