Why are packs more expensive on animalpak.com than they are on other sites like fitnessone?

basically, if a company wants to be mass marketed and get max exposure you need to be sold at major stores specializing in the field (GNC), if the company undersells GNC, which admittedly is overpriced, GNC will pout and pull the product from the shelves- the company loses many and goes out of business. bad, but its the nature of capitalism. I do not like GNC, but they have a contract with AAFES so they have a shop in the PX here, so if i catch myself needing something in a hurry i go there, but otherwise, I use the discount houses. Universal/animal are probably the most cost efficient supps out there, but they dont really have much control over how high the prices in the stores go.for example, at the px in Iraq a can of 44 animal paks sells for $55....

over here we get screwed over big time when it comes to Animal supps. the pak sets me back 70 bucks and pump 100. ive just started buying from bodybuilding.com and its cheaper to pay for shipping and have them sent over from the us

I am so glad I am on a military base and my supps are mailed to me through USPS mail. The exchange rate here in Enland is just stupid. 1 pound is like $2..so if you get an adult movie ticket, its 8 pounds..that $16! For one movie ticket! You don't even wanna know what popcorn and snacks cost.

A selling price suggested by a manufacturer of merchandise, may not be mandatory, although manufacturers may hope that retailers maintain a price within the range of that suggested retail price.

Most of the time, stores will charge less than the suggested retail price depending on the wholesale cost of the item, which is purchased in bulk from a manufacturer, such as Universal.

The thing about purchasing from a manufacturer, is that there rarely is a middleman involved. Your guaranteed proper customer service and quality...most of the time.
The concerns of most retailers still boil down to turnover and profit margin, those two are key. A retailer must re-sell what they've bought in order to buy more stuff and make a profit for themselves. If you're a retailer with great products, that's great, but turnover and profit margin are the most important.

Let`s talk money shall we? Minimum wage here is about 130-140$. The average salary ... let`s say a journalist earns around 300$.
The least ammount u can pay on rent is about 100$ for a one-roomed flat. That kinda` leaves you with 200$ to pay the electric water &other bills plus the food.
By the way Animal pak is 60$

In Mexico, with an exchange rate of 11.04 MXP per USD, it is about a 10 to 15% cheaper than prices in the U.S. and a plus is that if you buy two or more supps. they chip in the delivery...

Well ... there are those here who live really good. We got more Mercedes-Benz than Germany :). There are those of us who just work and those that make money if you get my idea.
You can live well if you do one of the following: go into politics(in order to steal); start a company; steal/deal drugz or like more and more people do- go to work in another country and send the money home.
I was actually supposed to be in the UK right about now but other things came up and my family needs me here.
But things are looking up for us since we joined the European Union and hopefully in 10 or 20 years my kids will live in a better place than i did.
Thanks for the support.
