Yo fellas...i'm not really growin or makin any gains lately so i think its time for a new split......right now i do....Tues chest/Wed Back/Thurs shoulder/Fri Bi Tri/Sat Legs.....I'm gonn change it to .....Tues Chest Bi's/ Wed Legs/Thurs Back Tri's/Fri Shoulders.........My fears are that this new split that i made up gives me 3 days off in a row...is that to much? gimme some feedback people.....on a side note i cannot train on mondays because of my work schedule and i usually do family/cheat day on Sundays Thanks for your help Brothers
i think your split is bad for tris more then anything because if u do heavy tris then do shoulders fri u mililtary is gonan struggle id go with something like
t-chest maybe throw in a lacking pt
w-back
th-legs
f-shoulders.trap
s-arms
of course throwin in abs and calves twice or even three times a week n hit cardo if you really need or tryna cut

You may be fine with it, but I couldn't deal with working out a four day split doing four days in a row with three off. Rest days are important, as much so you can recharge between trips to the gym as anything else.
Where are you not growing?
How is your diet?
What exercises are you doing when you're at the gym on your current split?

check my journey for my excercises its not up to date but the last time i did it i'm still doin the same movments....my diet is pretty strong i'm not growing anywhere and not making any gains in my different areas like bench and squat...some of my workout buddies suggest the change because on the first 4 days of my lifts r all upper body right in a row and then i do legs....if i do legs in the middle of the week then it'll split up the upper body movements,,,,my overall goal is to stay around 250-245 but get to like 10-11% bf thanks for you input fellas

Rest more. Take a day off between training days, unless your schedule just demands that you do it the way you currently are. You don't grow in the gym, but you already knew that.

If you aren't growing anymore it means you aren't eating enough food. Changing your workout is NOT going to fix that.

ok so after careful review of my sschedule i think i came up with a good split.....Tues/back...Wed/chest...Thurs/legs Fri/ Bis Tris....Sat shoulders abs every other day
The split I have found to be the best and the one I always come back to is....
Tuesday arms and calfs
Thursday back, traps and abs
Saturday quads and hams
Sunday chest and shoulders

so lets my say my split goes like this..
monday-chest
tuesday-back/calves
wednesday off
thursday-bis and tris
friday-shoulders
saturday-legs
would everyone agree that its a better idea to put the leg split in the middle of the four upper body workouts?
I`d have an extra day off and place arms with delts, training delts the day after triceps might be a problem due to soreness etc but that is just my opinion and choice, try it.
You could change it round and place delts the day before arms, I still prefer the extra days rest though.

Whens the last time you took a week off? every 8-12 weeks I take a week off to let everything heal back up heres what I do...8 day split works well for me

off
chest
back
off
shoulders
arms
off
