How do you guys feel after a workout?

Me personally, I feel nauseated, worn down, exhausted, and at times I drift in and out of sleep while driving home...once home I collapse on the ground and can hardly move...once I eat im good and feel good the next day.

How about you guys? Do you feel beat afterwards, or filled w/ tons of energy?

Usuall depends on what day it is.Mainly lower body days wear me out entirely, and even with food etc im still a bit tired through the day. After a very heavy day i have a hard time holding food down as well,im not even hungry till about 30 minutes postworkout. When i was driving stick, after leg day i would always have to sit for 10 mins or so cause my calves were so sore and twitched,so didnt want to mess around clutchin,ha.But,usually after i pulled in my driveway i would fall asleep for a few minutes. After work as well.

So overall yes.I feel pretty worn out,but depending on the day & exercises its possible to go out that night, and hang out a bit later or something.

& work, well gotta do what you gotta do.

I'm shot after a workout. I stagger my way to the locker room, sit down for a few minutes to gather myself for the walk/hobble to the car.

Back and legs really take it out of me, but I assume that's the same for most people.

Depends on how the workout went. If I meet my goals for the session I usually always feel pumped and good. If I failed at my goals I may be a little down but nothing too extreme. If I hit it really hard sometimes I'll be a little worn out and tired afterward.

You drift in and out of sleep while driving home? That might be a problem...

But I'm with you on being exhausted and just feeling like shit for a while. The PWO meal is always sooooo good.

I usually feel pretty beat in the gym after a few sets...hearts pumpin, feel kinda sick, sweatin my ass off...but after I have my pw drink I feel good once everything settles, and then I am energized and find it hard to fall asleep

I used to feel exhausted after my workouts but not anymore. But since I am now in really good condition, I just feel invigorated. (read- not a fatty). You guys should probably do some more cardio if you are getting wiped out.

The only days I feel really awful and shaky and nauseus are legs and maybe back. But even then, Im stimulating the muscle, not detroying. Ive gone the whole black out in your own puddle of sweat route. Doesnt work for me on a consistent basis. Every once and while, sure, do 20 sets of heavy squats for high reps, but the majority of the time, Im in there to bust up muscle, adn go feed it!

So to answer teh question, I feel pretty good walking out, a little drained, and plenty sweaty but Torrent and Nitro take care of the recovery and Im usually back to "normal" in about an hour.

I completely disagree. The amount of cardio you do does not have anything to do with how exhausted you are after a session with weights. I can do 1+ hours of cardio or go all out at a sport for over an hour, but these are nothing compared to going balls to the wall training legs or back (if you are training them hard).

My brian is fuzzy, my thinking is slow, i'm not very perceptive, I have trouble stringing together long sentences and paragraphs, i'm sweaty, wet, and tired. So, to sum it up in two words-

Damn Good.

I just get really tired. I eat and then 30 minutes after that I fall asleep. Towards the end I feel like puking all over the place.

I'm a little worn, a little sore. I'm so hot it takes me forever to get to sleep (end at 8pm) and I wake up with the pillow soaked from sweating so much. I deal with it though, part of my life.

again, depends

when i was bodybuilding, leg days where horrible, I DONT GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOUR CAR PROBLEMS!!!!!!i had to endure walking home in -30degree canadian weather with winds cutting my face open, snow 3 feet high and my house being a good 35-40 minutes away. there and back, i walk for about 80 minutes in the suffering weather just to walk into and back from hell.

you like fun, DO YOU WANNA HAVE FUN??? come walk with me on the north side after a 40 set leg day and 20 of them being variations of squats,12 of them being deadlift variations and the remainder being isolation, weak point moves that get you sore as a motherfucker.
we'll train together sometime!

now those days sucked balls man!

or in the summer time, when it rains every other day it would seem in 30 degree weather and humidity being like 80%. im walking in that shit for 30 minutes and im sweating before i start my warm ups.

these days, depending on weather and training day, where off and on. an arm day in the fall or spring when temps are perfect and "daa puuump izz, iszz increeeedddddibbbblllle"those days kicked ass. i felt like having sex with any good looking chick that walked past me, i wanted to hang out with friends at local restaurants, i wanted to go into malls and scream at the top of my fuckin lungs "I AM BETTER THEN ALL OF YOU!!!"

(this was all done with out any A.A.S. or prohormones.im just crazy!)

as a powerlifter, i get fuckin mixed emotions. i will be all happy cause training is sick. i love the training. i crush all in my way, the plates rattle, all eyes on me,chalk everywhere, blood makes its appearence every so often, different rep schemes, set schemes, rest schemes just fuckin different then all tho joe blows in that gym!

i get sad cause i know tomorow is a day off unless its sunday. sunday and monday are back to back, double headers with the explosive, har hittin DE BENCH starting the show off followed by ME SQUAT/DEADS which do not dissapoint!!!!

but somedays, ill get the shit kicked outta me from all the stuff i do to myself. i wont wanna eat cause i feel like crap, i shit 5 times that day, im out of it. when i was doing M1T, i would get huge records in the gym pretty consistently but i would have a big crash effect, i would feel almost dissy or lathargic afterwords. i can remember lookin at my food at a restaurant, a crappy burger with dry bread, shitty salad and diet sprite.MMMMM?
anyways, i nearly dropped my face into it all. it was like i was "low" like a diabetic.

those where bad times. i would need lots of food in me to get that feeling away. food was the cure.

so to close, ive had mixed feelings which are controlled by more then just iron.

i think i took this post abit too seriously lol!!!!1

Drained, tired, and sometimes feel like my stomach is going to turn inside out. Gotta hit a shower and get to work afterwards so usually tired for an hour but then I feel great and reenergized. Love those early AM sessions!

bro back and legs always get me too... a long heavy lifting session wears me the hell out.. i pound down a shake.. sit in the locker room for a second... try to make it to the shower and then eat my post workout meal and drive home where i crash on teh couch until its time for bed

i feel destroyed...
go up to locker room...drink my Glucose drink (sugar drinks dont do it for me...i need pure glucose to go straight to my brain and muscles)

I then have a shower...after the shower the glucose is in all the right places...i feel good...like i wanna go down to the gym and fuck the shit outta every honey in there!

Then i down the protein shake in no time. Walk outta the gym like im the fuckin man. Throw my towel in the towel bin, get into my car, turn the volume to full and drive off feeling like an ANIMAL!

Peace

Actually after a work I feel like i could never catch my breath. it is like that for about 20min or so then im fine. its not asthma or anything. i just think my body is so worked that it is trying to over compensate to refresh it.
