Lately this past week ive experienced nausea and stomach discomfort before lifting. Like i need to throw up before i go lift.. and it usually continues into my workout. its not like the feeling of throwing up after a hard workout or anything just alot of stomach discomfort/ bloating/ etc..

heres what i eat/take pre workout

1 hour prior- scoop of protein mixed with 1/2 cup of oats in a shake

12-20 min prior- serving of shock therapy with 4 grams l-glutamine

after my workout i have diahrea that usually lasts from then on throughout the day

anyone experience this??

and more info..

10 min after workout i take one scoop of protein with 3 tbs powdered gatorade and 4 grams glutamine.

Take a week from the pre workout drinks.Sometimes i had bad bloating from shock (tho its an insanely good product).

I would also say cut out the 1/2 cup oats.I can do that,but i am not everyone.I have an iron stomach,this could be your problem.

yea i would agree, iit does seem to be a lot of pre-workout stuff.
eat something light, that wont fill you up or bloat you but will give u energy.
try this....
pre-workout - 5g glutamine, bowl of whole grain or wheat cereal, dont even fill urself up.
post-workout - 5g glutamine, protein shake

Sounds more like nerves to me... Does something at the gym bother you? Like fear of getting hurt or something? Who knows could be the fine looking young lady on the treadmill you've been eyeing up every wednesday.

its prolly the shock therapy. i noticed if i eat and have shock therapy at the same time i have to take a duece while im tryin to get out the door. i usually just take shock therapy during my workout now rather than b4 and it iworks better

Jeff is right,that always seemed to happen to me as well.Shock during exercises,say 10 mins in sounds like it would work better as well,its more of an instant effect

haha no lol the gym is like my second home. i think like you guys said its prob the combination of the shock therepy mixed with the food.

so today im goin to try this..

1.5 hours pre workout- bowl of oats with protein or cereal

probably around my first set start drinking a serving of the shock therepy

id bet the house that its the shock therapy...i dont like that product at all due to how it always made me neasus before the gym...drop that and youll be better

Before you drop the shock therapy, try going without glutamine. I've heard of people getting nauseous from that.

For sure get away from the shock, if you need something replace it with pump. It may also be the protein try a different type or brand and see what happens. Some proteins give me the same bathroom problem.
