I cant remember what there called. they look like this:

/*\ -- u squeeze it in one hand. pretty clever pic there too. Just wondering how to use these things properly. do you just sit there all day and keep squeezing?

Just squeeze em and they are supposed to develop your grip real good.

I wouldnt suggest using them all day. But you just squeeze them like your grabbing a bar.

If you're doing deadlifts and other such things without straps, then that will better your grip more than anything else.

I have got the T, 1, and 2.

I just do sets until I get tired like I would if I was doing a regular workout. I usually do some after my workouts a couple times a week...It's just something I wanted to change things up a bit...but like somebody else said Deads/no straps works the grip big time, I also heard just hanging until your grip fails improves your grip immensely...

I just ordered a couple sets (I got the guide and the sport, I figure I can at least go to failure if they're too light). I'm hoping that I can get my forearms stronger (in addition to not using straps and whatnot) to keep them from being so sore. My grip hasn't failed, but I've hurt too badly to finish a set before.

I'm going to have to pick up a pair of these things. My grip can use some improvement.
By the way, the title of this thread had me spit some shake onto my monitor.

Hmm I'm glad I saw this, I'm thinking about buy a pair of these, or 2. I use Elite Rings right now, so I might try the "hang on until you hand anymore" method for now. I notice that when my grip is pretty good and strong, I can lift a lot more with ease. I have trouble doing pullups often since my grip isn't that great.

if you get the CoC get read for some calluses(SP) if you don't already have em...the knurling on them is pretty good.

That's what I bought. I already got some, and I'm not worried about having pretty hands anyway. lol

Maybe you could model ugly hands. Like for a jeans commercial or something. Probably not as good money in that, though. lol

My hands already have callouses, I got them from the Elite Rings. I wear some thin leather gloves when I workout too, but even then I get them. Not really worried about it, guys aren't meant to have nice hands anyways.

Lol I got over 4 callouses on each hand! Lifting without gloves and deadlifting without straps has improved my grip but fucked up my hands as well lol, but I look at the callouses as a good thing and don't mind them at all. I'd rather have callouses and a strong grip then not have them and have a weak grip.

I was always afraid to get gloves at first. Afraid somebody'd think I was putting on airs. Now that I've learned a few things, I'm not really interested in spending the money on gloves. So I guess I'll just keep doing without.

I tried a hook grip on my last set of shrugs last night. That was an interesting sensation. lol
