Work might just fuck up my routine. I work monday and wednesday, so this week will just be doing a 3 day split.
Monday work sucks. I probably shouldn't mention I'll be eating and napping all day long after my workout.
Splitting it up by the Big 3 this week? Or some other way...
Will be pouring everything thing i can into the workout, so prolly will hit the most i can in a short time. Incline bench, hang clean, and close grip bench for chest shoulders and tris, and more as i think up. Bout to go to bed though. I will post more tomorrow. Peace out yall.
Just back, chest/shoulders, and legs this week. Here is todays back workout.
4 sets of pullups. alot of weird reps, i was mostly killing some time, waiting for my dad, and did quick ones, slow negatives, only doing the top portion, shit like that. Best set was 15 with a standard wide grip

Nice workout. Nothing wrong with using the EZ bar for rows... its got a different feeling to it, but not in a bad way.

Dude for real I am lovin that hardcore workout....just a tip, maybe alternate your chest and shoulder exercises to get the most out of each body part. For example, a set of inclines then a set of your arnie presses, go back and forth etc.
Even alternate your calf raises with your delt raises, etc. Either way looks like you are gonna get even bigger this summer you keep training like that.

I normally would have shoulders on their own respective day, but had to combine them with chest due to my work schedule.

Ow. Thats all i can say. My dads knee popped on leg press when we started piling on the plates, so he dropped out after the first exercise. He did stifflegs with me, but after that i was on my own. Was kinda nice in a way. Did a couple minutes on the recumbent bike to loosen up.

And done. It went really quickly, and kept a pretty good clip goin the whole workout. I think the high volume just might be what the do ordered for some good DOMS, which will be awesome for work tomorrow. And those hack squats made my hips feel lit up, or its the adductors. Either way it feels different.
Shoulders and triceps. First time training without my dad in a long time, so i did what i felt like for as long as i felt it. Started at 3:15, and was out of the gym at 4:10, so it was pretty short.

Triceps felt pretty ballooned up from the high reps and drop sets, so lets hope they get sore. I kinda popped something in my shoulder with the heavy dips, which kinda scared me away from any more presses for triceps to let it rest. I saw some people i went to high school with. The oldest brother once tried to kick me in the face during a game of dodge ball to keep me from getting a ball to tag him with, but it seemed they had forgotten it, so i dropped myself. Kept the little brother from crushing himself under 155 on bench, so in return they spotted me on shoulder presses.
Also did fitness testing in health this morning, and my scores are as follows.
Pushups in 1 minute=85. I was accused of not going to lockout at top, so i did a jump push up to flip the kid off. The rest the class thought it was funny, he didnt though.
situps in 1 minute=30 Need to work on this pretty heavily, so lots of weighted situps and incline abs for me.
sit and reach. 20 inches. My lil buddy is athletic as fuck, sprints ever where and only got 9 inches on it. I guess i was just born limber.
Mile run=8:05. I am honestly not sure this is right. I think she lost track of my laps, and i wasnt counting. Maybe though, i hope its true.
Bf testing=17.5% i am happy with this. I can drop it pretty quick i think, cause the math came out to 37lbs of fatty tissue, so i know i have to drop 17lbs. I might drop more as i see a need, but dropping nearly 20lbs is good to me.
All in all, i was above average. Atleast according to the scores. And i think at 6 ft an 215, to be carrying about 180lbs of lean mass is pretty good. Not the greatest, but easy to remedy.
Tomorrow i think me and Gehlbach are heading to Hit legs with Hola Bola, and hopefully Excessive Endorphins can make it too. If i dont post tomorrow, it cause I have been murdered by legs, and tell my mom i love her.

Nasty lifting today bro, shitloads of volume to go around. Glad to see you're liking the o-lifts on shoulder days, hope it catches on with others on the site. Fitness testing in health is always fun except for the mile run for me too. I ran a 5:20 in middle school when I was doing cross country and lacrosse, but that shit's not happening anymore LOL. I think I ran like a 7:20 this year. To think there are human beings who can run a mile in less than 3:50 is truely amazing.
Running, not my thing. I hate to run with a passion. I will walk from here till next tuesday, you tell me to run i am done after 10 minutes. I have nothing but respect for those olympic distance runners who can run for 30 minutes and the miles just are getting ate under their feet.
The volume was just for a change of pace, havent done high volume in a long time.

Parking lot lunges. 95lbs 2 sets. 20 steps down hill, then 20 steps up hill. Me and Hola went down hill first, so we had to go up hill.
Then cruised with him to his parents house, and man, if any KC ABC memeber read this, you will have a blast. his home gym is amazingly awesome, with a rope to the ceiling, a bball court, and weights, all in this giant room. We then cruised to the pool, where i proceed to embarass Eddie, by jumpin on his back, and setting the hooks. For a good 10 minutes I was either sinking chokes or just bothering him cause he couldnt shake me loose. Blake might be one of the nicest people i have ever met as well, easy to talk to, and willing to share. And his wife is just as nice.

I was taking a lot of tips from him, and didnt lock out on most anything but the 405, and a couple of times to breathe with the 135. Almost everything was in the hole squats, never going all the way, but going all the way down. You feel forced to with him behind you yelling at you.

Haha, I wouldn't say that I am "better" at anything.... Those of use that have worked out with Blake know what your are saying and how your legs are feeling.... lol. I stayed pretty close to him on reps on the squat machine, like 2 behind on the heavy set, but gassed out much faster then him. He has some amazing endurance on squats.

I wear gloves plus strap up bro. I grab it like I'm going to do a shrug, wait a second, and then bend over and start repping. My back days have one being heavy barbell rows (like yesterday) then the next usually lighter barbell rows for higher reps on the Smith machine.
Keep doin what you're doin though. 275 is no joke.

I know you will hit it when you can. And i know this will kill you, but when you are in basic, dont worry about hitting the gym. They do have gyms you can go to, but when you get a break eat and sleep. I think you will be fine though with all the push ups, situps, pull ups, and running you will be doing.

8 minutes on the stairmill. This was brutal, i was soaked before but i was bathing in sweat during this. weighed in at 212 at the end of the day, so i am losing weight on the job. Guess thats what you get when you average couple miles of walking in a hour.

Next up, 9, then 11 per side. I dont leg press at my home gym, the damn thing will wreck your knees with more then 4. So, when i get the chance, more pies, more reps. we know some guy who does 20x12 though, so i gotta play catch up.

My brother has got fucking monkey arms and is fast like a monkey on crack, I always took 3 or 4 before I got to the inside. Once there he was mine, I remeber the first time I beat him. Gave him rug burn on both sides of his face in front of his girlfriend. Ah, memories. -T.

Yea, i was 230 in the 8th grade. I am 208 now, and i saw some old pics of myself and i couldnt believe i ever looked like that. Just inspires you to never let yourself go back to the way you were.
Everynow and then we bust out the measuring tape to brag over the other. His arms are a consitent inch larger then mine, and my calves by several inchs. It also is nice to see that the tape is moving and that you are growing. Try it sometime, then, 3 months later, see how much your waist has shrunk, and your arms and thighs have grown.

My mind snapped today during legs, and i want to set some fucking records for myself, and walk in and fuck up the lifting boards at school, cause i know i fucking can. Talking with Eddie about it, and my goals after 12-18 weeks will be Squat 455x3, Bench 335x?, Deadlift 500. At week 6, i will buy chains to help along, and only do some bodybuilding work to help everything along.
But here is today leg day, the one that broke the Maharg's back.

Week 1-6
Monday Bench work
6x4 on flat bench
Incline Flyes 4x10 After 6 weeks this will switch to Close grip Bench.
Rear delt flyes

Tricep pushdowns with straight bar, then failure with rope
Tuesday Squat day
7x3 on squat
5x4 on front squat
Leg curls. Dont worry, more ham work will be done on Back day.
Thursday Deads
8x2 on deads. This may change though.

That is the first 6 weeks. After this, i will buy chains, and modify the routine as i see needed. I am also gonna start using my pay check to make use of a deal at work. Meat, 5 items for 25 bucks. Stuff like tip steak, roast, various cuts of Meat, that people dont really like as it is "Too Lean" and not as tender. Along with all the Meat, Sweet potatoes. Lots and lots of sweet potatoes. And Oatmeal. Supps to be ran along with all this shit is Mstak, and Omega. Pak is a staple and dont need to be mentioned. Creatine, glutamine, and protien will my cocktail of choice, and protien bars for at work.

I decided i will do close grip bench from the start of the cycle. And i will do cardio while eating big jsut to make sure i am not puttin on the wrong kind of weight. So, double cardio next week, see if i can hit 200lbs even or less, then Big goal is to hit 235 at the end of the powerlifting. I hope to atleast hit a more solid 215, 225. Steak 3 times a day, lots of slow digesting carbs, and a will to get big. Hope for the best, and work for the rest.

Thanks for the advice, I will take it to heart. Figured I would have to start with more isolation and work my way back into compounds. I got three weeks before I can lift, but they lasered me, so the heal time is probably better than with your stomach. -T.
Back. I wound up doing this at 8 in the morning, and had already gotten 2 meals down my belly. Some of you know, i am not a morning person, and working out earlier then noon is normally against everything i stand for.

Well, productive last 4 days:
Monday: Girl i have been seeing acts kinda funny, wont talk to me, wont walk with me, wont text me. Alright, 2 can play this game. Dont bother trying.
Tuesday: Leave for memphis at 7 in the morning, schools from all the surronding counties meet up to head to tennesse via charter bus. Grab my seat in front of the dvd screen, and watch the kids climbing on. Blondes, brunettes, red heads, goth chicks, prep girls, party girls. this could be a very fun trip. Driving along through missouri, we cross down into arkansas, where we meet up with another bus of kids. Get back on the bus, and i decide, fuck sitting with only people i know. Start getting familier with other kids. Pretty kool people, one kid brought his 360 with him so we would have something to do. We get to memphis, and i have to say, if i ever felt like i was gonna get mugged, it was then. Really bad looking individuals, in a really bad looking town. We were so glad to get out of that place, and get to mississippi where our hotel is. My roommates, Auggie and jason, and i decide that we want to see what all is going on, and start running around messing with people. Pop into Andrews room to play Xbox, and these 2 girls show up, Jessie, and Becca. They turned out to be some awesome girls. More on them later. But its been a long bus ride, so we go back to our room and crash. Well, atleast me and Jason did. Auggie got locked out, and starts beating on our door at midnight.
Wednesday: Wake up at 5. No reason why. Just woke up, and couldnt fall asleep again. Go downstairs, and just destroy the all you can eat buffet. 2 hours later, go and do it again with my bunkmates. Go and tour Gibson guitar factory, and the rock and roll museum. After the tour, the teacher cuts us loose, and we can go tour downtown and get our own food and trinkets. My friends head off to Hard rock, while i go off looking for some good food. Run into a kid from the bus named Chris, and we go marching along looking for a burger. We found Coyote Ugly, and a bunch of bars, but no good food. We did go into a Voodoo Healing shop, and got offered giant beers, but i still just wanted a 7 dollar burger. Ran into a bunch of kids from his school, and they all decide that we should go to hooters. My heart just sank, cause Hooters does not have good food. So, i go off on my own, and find a dive that served up a mean plate of Gator tail. That was some amazing food. Well, the time rolls around, and its time to go to graceland, Home of Elvis Presely. While on the tour, The girl i was seeing, sent me a text where she was all pissy. I asked why. Turns out me telling people we were dating was a bad thing, because when she was in walmart with her 22 year old boyfriend, she got called a whore. Not my fault, but ok. She goes "Me and Teli are official, you and me arent, you shouldnt have told people we were dating." I have been in this spot before. I refuse to be Other guy. So, i told the 16 year old to enjoy the 22 year old, and started flirting with Becca and Jessie. Get done at graceland, get back to the hotel, and hang for about a hour napping. Wake up, get dressed, and we go to the mall for 5 hours. after about 20 minutes, i break off from Auggie and Jason, and just go walking around. Suddenly, Jessie and becca are on either side of me, and tell me i am going shopping with them. Surprise! Alright, i can play this game. We are walking along, when i get jerked into Victoria's Secret. Yea, this will be fun. jessie goes looking for a Corset, while Becca tells me i am gonna help find her a good perfume. As i am thinking about anything that crosses my mind, becca turns and sprays me with some random bottle, then leans in and sniffs me. Well, atleast i smell nice, turns out to be some 40 dollar bottle of cologne. After they find their stuff, they decide that i need a new style, and the next hour is spent trying to get me to buy these 40 dollar tshirts, and 60 dollar jeans. I play along, but dont buy shit. Do get stuck being bag bitch a couple of times. that sucked.
Today: Head back from memphis. Grab my seat, and Jessie plops next to me, and says she is hanging with me the way back. Sweet. we go around, see the sights, and get back on the bus. She jacks my seat, and its on like Kong. I tell her this means war, and we proceed to at every stop see who can get back to the window seat the fastest. i finally tell her she can have it since she couldnt hear the movie, and i had already seen it a couple of times. Then she sprawls out, and lays down on me. complains shes cold, so me being the gentleman that Vaze doesnt believe, i offer her my hoodie as a blanket. She grabs it, and falls asleep on me. Alright, i can deal with this. After awhile, she wakes up, and stretch out, and see that Auggie is sleeping with becca in the seat behind us. Go to take a picture of the two cuddling, and Auggie throws me the bird. Get back to springfield finally, and Jessie tells me her digits, and that we should talk. One door closes another opens, all in two days.
A hell of alot more happend, most of which i glossed over, or dont feel like typing. Had a great few days, and my parents told me i dont have to go to school tomorrow either. Life rules.

But all day i only had like BBQ ,stew, and water. so you couldnt see any. I would look like a jackass lifting my shirt and nothing happening in a room full of girls. I can only think of one thing worse then that happening thats along the same lines.

But as it stands, small victories can lead to a winning of the war. 500 is just the stepping stone leading to a goal i have. 750 on deads. Not saying when, or it if will ever happen, but its what i want. My body isnt built for deads, but i am pretty damn good at squats, and all shoulder movements.

i have never had all that great a skill at deads. it took me so long to get just 405 for reps it drove me insane. However, after just a few months, i am at the end of the rack for shoulder presses. Oh well, gotta keep chipping away at deads.

This causes me to go pull cash, and sitting in a parking lot looking for someplace to go. I considered Texas, kentucky, oklahoma, Iowa, Kansas city, Anyplace.
I have no fucking clue why i am posting this, but I needed this off my chest.
