I have been following a challenge in one of the muscle magazines that is three months long and I am getting ready for month 3. So far the workouts have been going great, the cardio is going great, but the "menu" the mag provides sucks...sure it would work if I was bustin six figures at my job, but I narrow it down to protein shakes, peanut butter, red meat, and the "if it swims or flys then eat it" method. this program is to get cut and build muscle at the same time, but I am more interested in cutting a huge amount of fat. Im not built like the rest of you all...my shoulders/bi's/tri's/back are in great shape and cant complain, but my hips, stomach, and chest are what I am having trouble with. I have been the same shape all my life but I want to get rid of it for good and look like a freak show!!!!...Im trying to be patient about this cycle and refusing to lose the good fight. Any suggestions? Should diet pills be apart of my daily routine?

Thanks for your time,

Have you tried cuts? Also remember that what works for someone in a magazine may not work for you or me, so find what works for you and stick with it. Good luck brother.

Yeah more info on your diet and training routine would help. As for the diet pills I think there a waste of money, theres no substitute for a quality exercise plan a good diet and some discipline

im on that challenge and this looks similar. if it is then you realy should be doing the whole workouts. the diet they list is solid, but the variety is expensive, i personaly follow the macro guide and fill that up with eggs tuna cotage cheese and oatmeal to make it realy cost effective.im at the end of month two and have gotten great results. let me know if this is the same thing

Doesn't seem like very much food. I'd be starving if that was all I ate.

Yeah its the rock hard challenge...I been doing the whole sets, I just got the list up on the wall in the weight room, So I was doing it a lot from memory. I havent followed the diet plan cuz that shit can get expensive...so I just tried to modify with the basics (chicken, protein shakes, oatmeal etc.) I love the workouts, I really feel like im in great shape and my arms, chest, and back look great but my torso is weak, flabby. its driving me crazy...i started a little late on the challenge but I start month 3 today

What do you do for abs? I see you have "ABS", but is it a few token sets, or does it make you feel like your midsection is about to tear itself apart? From personal experience, you have to punish your abs till they are burning to deliver results. As from what others say, you may be eating too little, and your body is holding on to what it can.
