Well, for these I use a straight bar on a high cable. You need a good base and strong core (Assumed that you have/can do both). I lean slightly forward to get a longer ROM. Let the cable go to just before the plates rest each on each other for a negative portion of the set. Use a sweeping, straight arm motion for the contraction portion.
Pretty well the same exercise, just puts less pressure on the shoulders. I use it because I have been training a High School buddy and he can't really balance himself on a bench to do DB Pullovers.

I've heard from so many different places that if you are going to lift and want to improve, lift with somebody stronger. It's just so nice that Nick happens to go in with me now. If it's gonna take awhile, then get on it, haha! No time like the present!
As for the straps, I only use them when I go real heavy on barbell rows. I used them this week on my real heavy sets for a change, but I think I'll just go back to strapless this next week.
