We had the daughter round for dinner today and she was making Lemon Marangue Pie for the family as dessert, she asked me for some egg whites so I gave her the bottle of liquid egg whites I had in the friidge, she measures out 3 egg whites (6 tablespoons) then proceeds to whisk the hell out of them until they go into a thick goo inside the bowl.
She finished and I asked why it had to be like that, she said you have to get it to the point where you can turn the bowl upside down and the goo stays put.
It then dawned on me just before she started adding sugar to it that I could do the same and just add a scoop of flavoured Iso whey then place in the fridge, this would make a high protein, zero fat, zero carb mousse, excellent, I have 3 bowls all lined up in the fridge.
Simple, 3 egg whites beaten to a thick goo, add whey and place in fridge, couldn`t be any more simple.
You can add sweetner, peanut butter or whatever you like if not dieting.
