I damaged mine in a car accident but didn't have surgery, it hurt like hell. Hope it heals quick bro.

If i believe my MRI report (and i'm a med student), i have a torn meniscus, and i have no Anterior Cruciate Ligament injury in my knee.
But i happen to be squatting real heavy. The pain only kills me during winter, but i can live with it.

Gonna be fine bro. Good luck with the op.

I have had two surgeries to repair my meniscus. One when I was 16 and the other last sat. I am now 24. The two choices for the procedure are repair or removal. They can repair the meniscus, but your rehab and down time is very long, but with that you have less chance with problems at an older age. I had that when I was 16. I retore it 3 years ago and had a removal this time. They go in and remove the damaged area. For me that was almost the entire medial meniscus. I was walking on my own without crutches 3 days later. I have a little pain, but mostly from the swelling. I am hoping that my rehab will go well. Good luck to you with your surgery. If you have any questions on the surgery just let me know!!
