Any other skinny freaks out there having trouble gaining weight? It ain't just gaining the weight but eating all the calories? I know I am.

Any of you vets got any tricks to fool your mind into thinking you're still hungry so you can eat again after eating a meal filled with chicken, yams, and peanuts less than 2 hours before?

Well not a mind trick but maybe a full bottle of water helps you to put all the food down.

If you're having trouble getting all your calories you need everyday protein shakes/massgainers can help. You'll digest it faster and be hungry sooner if you drink your food rather than eat it!

I find the easiest way to ensure that I'm takin' in the right amount of calories is to pound down 2-3 mass shakes a day when I'm on a bulk. Take this from a kid who went graduating highschool at a scrawny 130lbs. to about 8 years later at a solid weight of 195 with 8% bf.
Also don't be afraid to not eat so clean. If you've got trouble packing weight eat high protein/complex carb meals that taste good... eating clean when you're a hardgainer will take you years to pack on mass. To be bigger you can't worry about adding a little fat... Believe the amount of muscle that you add along with that little bit of fat is well worth it.

I am a hard gainer myself but am slowly starting to pull away from my weight of about 135.. As of tonight I weigh a solid 145 and still going strong with no sight of a plateau anytime soon.. I am on a awesome weight gainer by xyience called x-gainer.. this stuff has glutamine for recovery and creatine right into the mass calorie/protein shake as well as a amino acid list almost as long as Animal Pak. As well I take multi-v's, fish oil, and Pump before every workout. Not to mention, I eat all the food in my house that's not bolted down... but seperating the meals 2 hours apart roughly.

Bulking begins and ends with food. That said, judiciously applied, a weight gainer like Real Gains can help as it tends to empty quickly--leaving more of your appetite intact for the next meal. Remember, weight gainers are a "supplement" to your diet, not a replacement. PM Universal Rep--I think he has samples of Real Gains...

I hear you bro. I'm sure you drink alot of water which means you're gonna be taking a piss sometime during sleep. I usually have a scoop of serious mass already mixed next to my bed. I piss,then I drink and am ready for breakfast in a few hours.

I've put on 10 pounds of muscle with egg whites. 6 per day. It's a great mental meal because it tastes like rubber therefore when it comes time for chicken you're looking forward to it.

Ive gained 40 pounds in the past ten months, my strategies have been: Whole milk, pbj, whole eggs (not just whites), meat sandwiches, gainer before bed, liver tabs, 50 grams whey/50 grams carbs after EVERY workout, and creatine. 5 mins of exercise (abs, taking the dog for a walk) before breakfast will make you very hungry but wont limit your gains like cardio will.

Take some milk thistle this will increase your appetite. Also it will keep your liver going strong. I was taking 9 pills at one point, i exp. no sides belive me the shyt will having you hungry like a horse baby!!!

Thanks Savage!! I knew of the benefits of it for the liver, but not appetite.

130lbs with chicken arms and a tiny waist? God I hate that place, I've lived in that place, I don't ever wanna go back to that place. Take a weight gainer. Like the bros said above, it empties real quick. My stomach's usually growling by my next meal if I took a shake as my last meal. I find it helpful to find 2 different kinds you like and alternate between them. Sometimes I even keep 2 tubs at a time just for variety. It's something I find helpful to have when you're basically chugging 3 shakes of the same stuff day in and day out. I love Real Gains and N-Large2. Both don't taste like chalk or sugar water even when you mix in alot of the stuff.
