What would you all say to be the top 5 exercises for overall leg development?

Squats, Leg Press, Lunges, Leg Ext, Leg Curls (I would say Straight leg deads, but it fucks up my back.

Just my humble opinion

Squat, Front Squat, Barbell Hack Squat, Stiff Legged Dead Lift/Romanian Deadlift, and finally Ham Glute Raise.

I think this may have been talked about before though. For some reason my search function isnt working to dig up the posts.

#1 barbell back squat
#2 front squat
#3 anderson squat
#4 lunges
#5 glute ham raise


notice how no machines are used. just one special bench.

back squat
front squat
leg press
hack squat (not bb)
lunges

1 - Squat
2 - Squat
3 - Squat
4 - Stiff leg deads
5 - Leg curl

1. Squats ATG-- Go deep and watch your quads blow up!
2. Front Squats
3. Leg press-- So heavy the room spins when you finish a set!
4. SLDL or Romainan Deadlifts- whichever cuases the least back pain for you. I rotate both!
5. Lying leg curls

Those are my top five, but I also throw in hack squats, lunges BB and DB for variety from time to time. Vary your foot positioning in all of these exercises too to be sure you hit the legs from all directions.
