Haven't read much on Doggcrap, but just got done reading this and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed: http://www.melbook.co.cc/mbook/Bodybuilding%20%26%20Fitness/Doggcrapp%20Training.pdf
I totally agree with what he is saying. Strength is relative to size, you ain't going to get nowhere with high volume/low intensity. You have got to add weight on the bar and train balls to the wall!

I've done DC. I actually just ditched DC training for a more traditional workout method.
DC training works; hands down. You get results in size and strength rather quickly if you follow the protocol. The only drawback is that you MUST follow the protocol day in, day out. I stopped doing it because of that. You know what you're doing in the gym days before you go. The program leaves little for creativity and its not enjoyable. Does it work. ABSOLUTELY. But I'd rather have a little more freedom in my workouts, and not have to follow something so strictly.

I'm not really interested in doing DC, but I agree with what he's saying based on my observations. I always have a goal in mind each time I train and am always trying to add progressive resistance. He makes a good point about how many people "stay the same" and if those same people actually pushed themselves to get stronger they would get bigger. I also love how he said he's seen fat powerlifters diet down and kill it on the stage.
Here is where you will find all you will need about DC Training-

Although I think he would've mentioned it...
That's probably a really old post since the article is old posts. Just a crazy coincedence that Roland has been training DC forever.
Haha....that's not me. Damn, it was good to read that again, it's common sense and its the fucking truth. there's more info also on www.intensemuscle.com which is the home for doggcrap training.

I've read about half of that, too. I'm a Westside geek to the eyeballs, but I must say the DC training certainly piqued my interest. I'm about 12 weeks out from working in any brand new training, but DC is a definite contender.

I took that away from the article, as well as pretty much 'gear' isnt really an option, more of a have to have, when it comes to wanting to really increase size/strength, and break the mold.
Apologies mods if I went into no-no territory with post.

yeah i know where youre coming from bro, but its not a necessity, just like any type of training it'll just take a little longer.
