I'm calling this Journey "Lift or go Home" because this isn't a joke anymore. It's time to get serious about lifting. It's time to make my body the best it can be. I'm a teenager and as serious as anyone else. Being a teen its hard to get serious about anything because everyone around you doesnt care as much as you should. Well, that part of my life is over.

Lookin good man, can def relate to the age thing. Especially in college when u gotta explain to people why u cant go out every night because u need to eat and go to sleep so u can grow. kill them squats tomorrow!

well on Monday I did some squats... but they really arent anything to be proud of because we actually didnt do a workout... we did 2 sets of 10,8 (255,270 atg... way to easy) because this week only had 2 days of school. BUT! no worries... im going to the gym to do some killer legs on thurs. or fri.

I had to help one of my friends with weights like that, he's a complete beast... Only person I've ever seen rep out 4p in person, looks like it's something you can work around like he does bro.

Hope your shoulder feels better bro. Must be a bitch not to be able to rotate it but I see you have over come that and kept lifting. Might be in a similar situation as you are but i can't rotate my shoulder to bring my arms to my back so back scratching is definitely out of the question.
Still, solid workout. You killed shoulders, calves (love it). About the tits, even tho your shoulders were killing you, you persevered and got it done.

wow after the extensions my arms has a pump like no other... I completely that work out in about an hour so I didnt really wait that long in between sets... made the workout much harder and I feel much more accomplished. Also my Dad came down stairs to spot me.. so i was able to throw around a little more weight.

No man, 350 is plenty for weighing 210. Don't forget to train heavy though, don't buy into the more reps makes you cut myth.

I can imagine the pump that you got in the arms going throught that workout. How are your arms measuring now?

You really shouldn't do any tricep/shoulder work 2 days before chest. I always try and leave 3 days between chest and triceps/shoulders.

Yeah I think its about that time because I didnt take a brake after football... and im joints are starting to get this grinding feeling when im lifting.. so I think I am going to take some time off in about a month or so...

Im going to start a cut here next week and I need some help in the supps department.
My cardio will be 6 days a week... right when i wake up (after a protein shake) 30 to 45 min of various machines all in the fat burning zone...
my diet will be in check with about 6 meals a day, brown rice, tuna, salad, chicken, eggs, etc.
I bought these supps:
Animal M•Stak - Animal M-Stak 21 Paks
Animal Omega - Animal Omega 30 Packs
Animal Flex - Animal Flex 44 Packs
Animal Pak 88 - Animal Pak 88s
but I also want to throw some cuts in there to maybe get a little more out of my cardio... would that be a good addition to this stack, or would the m-stak cancel it out?

I did back at home yesterday... The weight isn't enough for me to do back anymore. I got some good lat pulls in and some db rows... but I could only do 155 for 12 on Barbell rows...

I found the works good for re-comping, its just slower. I wasn't really sure what your goal was. If you were doing a show, I wouldn't use the Mstak. But it works diff for everyone. -T.

I know one thing I was doing wrong with triceps for the longest time was doing heavy weight to the point where I wasn't squeezing. I bumped the weight down to silly light weight, like 30-50lbs on rope push downs, and squeezed real hard, my triceps blew up compared to how they were.. Maybe it'll help you too.

Here's something to learn that i've learned. Don't get pissed off when people ask if your on roids. If anything, take it as a compliment. They don't know half of what we know so give them the benefit of the doubt. Your obviously doing something right if people say things like that. Besides, give your parents some time. Eventually they'll come to realize that you've got a passion for this and will back you 100%. Of course they may think your to big, they may not fully understand, they may be completely confused but they will get it in time and support you.
I hope this is helpful. I know i've learned from experience and it doesn't pay to get angry.

I've been asked a few times and to the suprise of the people asking me I was like "really? that good?" and just started cracking up after looking at their face... it's different though when it's your mother.. you prolly thought she was trying to baby you a bit, which in all honesty she probably was. Just take it as a compliment and tell your mom that your goanna do a natural competition or something, which means no gear.

Im extremely well off in that area... naturally in 7th grade i benched 155 and squatted 270... then as a freshman i benched 200 and squatted 315... then i tore my PCL and lost everything... and ive worked my shit back up after that and i bench about 275ish (seeing about that on sat!) and squat a solid 385/390... midway junior year... I pack on weight so easy... i weight 210, 215 when i was bulked up... and I still can manage somehow to run a 4.5 sec 40 haha... and i can jump 10 feet at a standing long jump... I don't like people that brag on what they have, but i know everyone knows that im not bragging im notifying u all of myself... other people (jealous high school kids) would think im bragging... and i hate that a lot!

4.5 is fast in the 40 bro! I truned out one at 4.81 at 238. Best I had! Keep working hard. The parents will come around it takes time for them to undestand what you are doing is beneficial.

I was county champion in Wrestling, at 154 -- but I went up to 185 in the 4 months after the end of wrestling season to graduation my senior year. I was working with Earl Clark, a former Mr. America, at the time, and graduated three weeks after my 17th birthday.
He got me into my one and only bodybuilding competition a year later -- I got third -- then the Army got hold of me and messed up my back. [sigh]

Im extremely well off in that area... naturally in 7th grade i benched 155 and squatted 270... then as a freshman i benched 200 and squatted 315... then i tore my PCL and lost everything... and ive worked my shit back up after that and i bench about 275ish (seeing about that on sat!) and squat a solid 385/390... midway junior year... I pack on weight so easy... i weight 210, 215 when i was bulked up... and I still can manage somehow to run a 4.5 sec 40 haha... and i can jump 10 feet at a standing long jump... I don't like people that brag on what they have, but i know everyone knows that im not bragging im notifying u all of myself... other people (jealous high school kids) would think im bragging... and i hate that a lot!

Haha, you are one lucky bastard. I remember 8th grade benching with just 95 pounds on the bar and deadlifting around 200 and then herniating a disc... Yeah, great genetics i've got... I remember playing football in early 8th grade and me sucking at it and hating it. I remember dreaming of the gym in 3rd grade... messing around with an adjustable dumbbell set in 6th grade...

Hey man I know this is short notice but we are having a joint ABC with indy and southern abc this weekend in bloomington, IN. Check out the southern Indiana thread or hit up NCK219 about maybe catching a ride with him. Hope it can work out.
Wow, I have been having power outages... just all and all there has been a ton of weird shit happening at once...
updates: cut is going well... Im getting stronger while losing fat. Ive lost close to 15 pounds this month... and I repped out 255 x 3 in bench just the other day. U can finally start to make out my ribs and obliques.
question: when i was getting up around 215 I was getting pretty large and now that i am cutting I have lost alot of fat in my stomach area... will the sorta extra skin/fat tighten up eventually cus its sorta loose and fucked up..

This is my journey... and I think that with all journeys in life its not just plain and simple... There are bumps in the road... and I believe they need to be shared for all to understand and to learn.
I had recently almost been apart of some illegal activity... I'm extremely lucky but I have learned my lesson on this one. My cousin had basically a drug lord connection and I was going to push a drug for him to someone else... and get paid just to put one drug to another. Well it just so happens that the person (my age 18, I'm 17) was setting everyone up that day for the cops to lose some jail time... I got caught in the mix because I sent a text to him telling him its coming... Basically I got fucked... Luckily I didn't ever have the drugs.. or anything so I wont get charged with anything (most likely)... I have now decided to lose my current friends... not drink... or anything until the appropriate age.
