ok i was ready the "ask the pros" section and i saw on ox's section that he reccomends during a cut to do 45 mins of up-beat paced walking after lifting to maximize fat loss and not muscle loss. shit ill do it if its true. but now lets say i am on a cut and i wanna go for a run after a days work... would it be better to just go for a walk? lol
I say just go for a walk if you are lifting heavy
after "a days work", you mean after a days workout you feel like running, then i dare say your not working out hard enough.
But other people on this site are a lot smarter than me.

..only one reply. thanks for the help.
you may wanna try interval style "walking" walk, jog for a few seconds, walk, run for a few seconds, walk, jog, walk, run, walk
walk for upto 2 mins then the jog/runs for 30-60secs.
if thats all your doing on an "off day", the reason being, you need to elevate your heart rate to get into the fat buring/cardio range, and just walking may not do that for ya.

are you or anyone else familiar with the formula for configuring what your fat burning heart rate would be?

If youre doing keto, then go for a walk. If not do interval training (run/walk). Running is a waste of time and muscle if youre doing keto.

if you're keeping up with you eaa's prior to cardio, running isn't a terrible way to burn a lot of calories...just skip out on the crazy marathon runs. it might not put you in the target fat loss zone, but it will deffinatly eat up calories
