I bet everybody on this forum had new years resolutions for 2008 that had to do with their training, so how'd it go? Any big goals reached? Any significant accomplishments over this year?

body weight up from 165 to 192 as of today. Bench went from about 220ish to a legit 280. squat up from 300 to almost 400. deads up from mid 300's to a legit 405. best year as far as lifting goes.

It's been a very productive year.

The two biggest things I accomplished was deadlifting 425 lbs, my big goal was 405 lbs and I surpassed it. Also strict overhead pressing 185 lbs was a milestone PR for me. I've made quite a bit of progress on all my lifts and plan on making even more in '09!

As far as my weight goes, I started January 1st at 155 lbs sort of lean, then bulked (pretty dirty) up to 205ish by the middle of March. Yes, only 2 and a half months and I put on 40 lbs of muscle/fat (I didn't get THAT fat) haha. Then I cut from the middle of march to July 25th (Started Keto in May). Got down to 174, then bulked up to 200ish by the middle of august (strong keto rebound). Had a little fat so I did some leaning out and now I am sitting at 197ish, and MUCH leaner then my first time at 200 pounds, so I know I did something right haha.

As for training:

I hurt my back in November of 2007 (Started lifting June 2007) on a set of 295x3 on squat. Didn't start fully squatting again until about February. Now I'm at a 1RM of 500 raw, 550x2 on a high box.

As for deadlifts, I started these late, and when I did they were off of a power rack at ankleish height. In about April I remember my 1RM being around 365, now it's 405. (Shitty I know).

At the start of January, my 1RM for bench was 205. Now it's 325.

This shows what proper nutrition can do for your lifts. Even though I had a pretty dirty bulk(along with my clean food) from January to march, a lot of food meant big strength gains for me.

Was 176 in March and topped 196 by August. Consistently have been over 190 since the semester started, but stronger than I ever have been.
