View Full Version : Easy, quick and a good source of carbs and protein
Well, if you're on keto this isn't for you, but if you are...
1/2 a box of whole grain pasta
20-30oz chicken
plain old run of the mill sauce you buy from the store, use as much or little as you want
personally I add hamburger meat into some marinara sauce, tastes better with some meat in there and adds some more protein..
Boil the water, put the pasta in, when the pasta's done, strain it
Cut up the chicken, i do it in small amounts so you can get a big scoop full of chicken and pasta and not just one big piece of chicken
mix in the chicken and sauce with the pasta in the pot you cooked the pasta in
leave the pot on medium-high heat, stirring until at the desired temperature.
It does me good for 2 meals, usually my last 2 before protein.
It only takes about 10 minutes to do it, but you need cooked chicken. I cook mine on a george foreman grill, which adds another 10 mins.
This is my favorite meal besides a steak and oats.

Krispy Cream Original Glazed 200 calories, 100 calories from fat, 12 grams of fat, 6 grams saturated fat, 22 grams of carbs, 2 grams of protein.... Your going to eat 12 of them???????
Thats an insane 72 grams of saturated fat plus 1200 calories from fat... It tastes good but is it worth it?
