How come most people say to eat about 6 meals a day when cutting? Why not 3 or 4?

I mean is there really any proof that eating every 2-3 hours boost your metabolism significantly. I eat 6 meals a day and always thought that it did boost your metabolism but does it make a difference if I eat those same 6 meals combine a few and only eat 3-4 meals a day?

yes it will make a difference... in the wrong direction


as far as proof, although there are studies on this, the best proof is that virtually all bodybuilders eat at least 5-6 and up to 8-9 meals a day, and they've been doing it for decades
