Always training for the next meet, no idea when that will be, but when it comes I want to be as strong as possible!

Deads (beltless):
225x10, 315x10, 405x10, 495x5, 585x5, 675x4, 800x.75 (lol), 800xcomplete missx2 sets, 785x2, 695x3
Zercher squats: 405x5, 495x1, 585x1, 600x1
T-bar rows (close and wide grip): 8platesx3 sets each
Face pulls: 3 sets, no idea of weight, just left it where training partner had it
Today was a great workout, but very painful, lol. My lower back was ready to give out at end of deads. Now my back and ass hurt like hell, can barely move, lol.

Damn, the Nick Winters in the house. Can't wait to see your first bench session bro. How have your injuries been healing up bro? Any plans for an upcoming meet?
Nothing in the plans for a while, was planning on doing one in feb. but the situation at work made a turn for the worst.
I will be doing shoulders and benching tomorrow and then just benching on sat. Tomorrow will be shoulder presses first and then retard presses (see youtube for vid), followed by tricep work.
That's cool that your on here. I was just reading some articles about you last night and here you are! Maybe you can toss out some raw benching tips when you get some time bro. Awesome having one of the best in the house!
If you have any questions feel free to pm me, I will answer everything as best I can. I personally just took everything westside taught me about shirted benching and adapted it to raw. Only real difference on form is not tucking the elbows and touching a bit higher, and instead of doing a 1rm max on ME days I do 3's.

A retarded workout:
Retard shoulder presses (off pins with quadrupled MM bands): 135x10, 225x10, 315x7, 315x4
Retard presses (benching off pins at chest level with quadrupled MM bands, tested out at 140lbs of tension at start of press): 135x10, 225x10, 315x10, 405x2, 455x.75 couldn't get it locked out.
Tates: 100lbersx3sets of 10
Panora presses with purple band: 3 sets of 25
Overhead tricep extensions with purple band: 3 sets of 25
Good workout, felt a bit sluggish but set a pr on retard presses. Incredibly sore from yesterdays workout. Taking tomorrow off, squats on thurs.

800 pull.....im in 4 this
K, I have been thinking way too much about training lately, lol. I have been focusing on what my problem is with my deadlift and how to fix it, and how to pace myself on bench so I don't over do it getting ready for the next meet (whenever that may be). I have a bad habit of overdoing it and aggrevating old injuries and being broken down come meet time. So I am going to pre-write exactly what I am going to do each week at the begining of each week and actually stick to it. Friday I am going to do rack deads (weights 6" off ground), sets of 5-8 with higher weights than I normally do reps with (working up to 675ish).
Here is what I plan on doing sat on bench:
135x10, 225x10, 315x10, 405x5, 500x5, 585x2, 635x1x2, 550x5x2
followed by rotator cuff work and triceps. Next week will look similar but I will go 645-650.
It cracks my friends up that I am a bench specialist who now prefers to do deadlifts, lol.
Its a true sight, just seeing Nick in the flesh, as i did at the '08 Cage. Absolute beast.

Squats (all sets of 5): 135, 225, 315, 405, 495, 585, 675 (suprised how much of a difference in feel there is when its on your back opposed to in your hands, lol)
Leg press (2 blue bands, 4 green bands, 2 monster mini bands all chocked): 400x10x3sets
Leg extension 21's: 250x4sets
Leg curls: 220x10x3sets
Legs were frigg'n smoked when I was done with leg presses, had to force myself to continue on. My ass was literally cramping at the end of my workout. Got deads for reps tomorrow, good thing I don't use any legs on deads, lol.
Rack deads, weights 6" off ground (measured with a 3brd, lol):

CNS told me to fuck off today, lol. 405 felt almost kinda heavy, but 585 and 635 felt just the same as 405. Shoulders were still a bit tender also. My whole body just aches right now, will be taking sunday and monday off to recover and will also only be doing deads once next week.
Any chance of an insight into your typical daily eating habits, i'd imagine it's borderline offensive.
Not really, I start off with a big bowl of cereal and a protein shake for breakfast, two bowls of easy mac for lunch, go to work and have an extreme XXL shake, a carbo force shake while working out so I don't go hypo, another XXL shake after I workout, and then whatever my is waiting for me at home for dinner. It takes 5500 cals just to maintain my bodyweight. I'd post a recent pic, but I have no clue how to do that, lol.
Bench: 135x10, 225x10, 315x10, 405x10, 495x5, 585x2, 650x1 (messed up handoff, 3man), 650xmiss (worse handoff, one side was let go WAY before the other), 650x1 (smokeshow!!! single man liftoff)
Incline: 315x5, 405x5, 495x5, 585x1
bradford presses: 185x10x4sets
Side laterals: 45lbers x10x3sets
Front raises: 45lbers x10x3sets
Shoulders were frigg'n rocked after inclines. The two days of rest really paid off, I felt really good today. My hamstrings were tight as hell after arching on bench for the first time in a long time. Can't wait to do deads tomorrow.

Glad tomorrow is an off day, doing reps on bench, incline, and shoulder press on saturday.

You're using some ridiculous weights, the workouts are looking great man
I actually had a great workout due to proper eating (or drinking as the case would be) this morning. I woke up early, drank a 1000cal shake, and then had a carbo force 30mins prior to working out. Had great energy and strength, everything was just great. I didn't stick to my plan though because everything went so well, lol.

Hey Nick, what's the most you ever hit in training? You've done over 700 in training before right?

Short and sweet, still can't breathe for shit. My shoulders were still a bit sore from my last bench session on sat so I took it lighter tonight. My back was still killing me from last nights workout so I pretty much flat backed everything. Recovery is really damn slow while I am sick...imagine that, lol. Felt good about tonights workout, everything felt nice and light, went up nice and fast. Not sure what I am going to go for on sat. might be something big though...

That's incredible, probably the only video out there of anyone doing that kind of weight raw for a double.
