Surfed across this today, not quite sure what kind of training its classified as, besides what its called in the title that is... I know alot of mma guys that do training very similar to this with great results with strength/cardio development.

I did this type of training along with boxing for just over a year, the year before last, very very intense and so diferent from bodybuilding, I dropped loads of size and weight but didn`t care at the time, I also got a lot of injuries and so returned to the eweights for some rehabilitation and realised how much I missed the gym so returned and dropped the 300 type training.

That looks fuckin' intense. But, it seems you'd LOSE weight on that kind of training regimen. So, how'd they get big? Unless they were just eating a shit load of extra cals?

I've done it and lost weight too. It almost felt like I was doing a cardio workout. It was very intense and tough. It took me several workouts to build up endurance to get it done. I just tried it for something different and to mix up my training.

This looks like something the guys who want the "beach body" would drool over and do. I prefer bodybuilding.

Really? I didn't get that at all. I imagine those guys going to the gym, doing 3 sets of flat bench, 16 sets of curls, and leaving.

This looks more like some hardcore conditioning shit to me. And that's hard work. The "Beach Bodders" don't like hard work.

i wouldnt stick to the 300 workout for sheer size, but i would definitely do it once every 2 or 3 weeks just to change things up and shock the system....

i would also change it up...like flat dumbell presses/incline bench instead of flat barbell bench, different ab exercises etc.

Im interested...might have to do something like that in the near future!

300 inspired a couple huge threads on this forum, we don't need to clutter it with a 3rd

Yes it may not get you huge, but trust me when i say that shit is not easy. Try swinging a sledge as hard as you can 20 times. Or running with a sled. Thats some serious pump. I personally also body build, but i would 100% love to do this once a week or so, just to throw it off and get an insane amount of cardio in there.

did u try it????? don't make blank statements before knowing, i am a competitive rower and i have a good aerobic/anaerobic capacity and it was hard even for me to do it i had to ease into it over 3 weeks.

i did the 300 workout many times and it is a great once in awhile type of training to shock the body, but to do it 4 times per week is just mad, stick to the basics and what works and throw these types of workouts in just for a new regimen once in awhile.

I my opinion its been an overhyped program on alot of bodybuilding forums. Once and awhile it is good to use just to shock your body though.

i like doing crosstraining type stuff a couple times a week to stay in shape. it doesnt interfere with my powerlifting progress at all. i heard some guys who powerlift at the gym talking about how their doctor said they need to run or swim or do something 'active'
