I thought this would be a good 'Pinned' topic...

What holds alot of us back? Cold, Hard CASH!

Sure, we're here because we buy the ultimate in supps from Animal, but supps alone are worthless if you don't eat, train, sleep, etc...

You got an idea for saving a buck so you can maintain the Animal, let's hear it!

I get farm fresh, organic, brown eggs for $1.25 / doz!

Brothers....take a 5 minute drive outside of your town and I'll bet there's a farmer with a sign "Eggs for Sale". You will be shocked at how cheap you can get them.

We buy 9 doz. at a time and the farmer loves to see us return because we always bring back the empty cartons.

Take a drive bro's, it's worth it!

Buy in bulk. Got to a butcher and buy lik 30-40lbs of meat at a time. Watch for discounts when you shop. Best thing to do is to go shopping after you just ate, so you dont buy shit that you dont need. Ive been saving a lot of money doing that.

Hey bro....if you can, what we do is buy beef by the side. Last year we got a side of beef for the freezer at $1.79 / lb. That's 400 pounds of meat on the cheap! Steaks, roasts, ground, you name it!

Got a freezer? USE IT!

1. I dont buy clothes that i dont need because I knew many people who just loved shopping buying useless shit weekly.

2. Some people buy supplements that they dont need because I know this guy who is just a dumb ass fillin his closet with shit he doesnt need.

3. Buying food that you dont need and yes people just go buy extra shit and then it gets old and you throw it in the garbage.

4. For all my brothers in college apply for every damn financial aid you can, I did and I am going to school for free. My first year i was spending money and now Iam being paid to go to school. Its fuckin awesome. I am dead serious sign up for everything the few extra grand they give you save it and spend on useful shit.

5. Shop in cheaper places, I aint a cheap ass or anything I just walk a little extra and i end up saving more money.

And last but not least you will never go broke.

So get this cause it sucked. I went to costco about 2 weeks ago, saw all these awsome deals and took them all. 2 big boxes of brown rice, 15 dollars of chicken that only lasted a week, 15 dollars for 8 huge ass steaks, 3 dozen eggs, potatoes, oatmeal tuna and a bunch of veggies. So next thing I know I've eaten all the food (good for someone trying to grow) then go to buy more, yet I didn't have enough because I had to pay bills. What the fuck? I don't spend money on anything except animal paks/whey protein, food, bills, and I pick 1 supp to take every month. now that I'm trying to bulk, I can't really afford the extra food cost. Anyone got any suggestions on how to get the calories in without busting the bank? maybe like 3 solid meals and like 6 shakes? How would that work? The next step is just to go dust off my bow, buy a freezer and kill my own meat, buy a few chickens and produce my own eggs.

Gotcha on the buying a ton of food & its all gone practically before the ATM takes it out of your account. Since you've got the Costco paid for the year, downgrade from the steaks n chicken a bit, go back to canned albacore tuna or even tough out downing the cheap stuff. Check out cottage cheese, pasta, yams and again, the eggs, brown rice etc. Check and see if they have a supps section too. Find out what day your main local paper has grocery ads & study them for the sale stuff. And, for anyone, cut back or ditch the Starbucks and CD buying and anything else that doesn't help you grow.

Get your supps online... will save you massive amounts of money. GNC will kill your wallet and your bank account.

Buy your food in bulk, I get 6 pounds of chicken breasts, grill them up, and leave them in the fridge, grabbing them when I need them. You can get your eggs in bulk also to save a few bucks. Walmart has started carrying a pretty good variety of protein bars, and they are cheaper then even getting them online.

Stick with the basics for your supps.. leave all the new flashy products for someone else. Get your Paks, a good protein, and then throw in Animal Pump, M-Stak, Stak 2, etc as your wallet permits. Uni-Liver from Universal is also worth looking into. It's an old school supp.. that's still around, tells you all you need right there.

Above all.. keep at it!

When my bro and I started training together we would split the cost of bulk items to save money. We used to save soo much money. Then our goals changed and now it's back to buying by myself. All I can say is, research, research, research. I've bought things thinking that they were the cheapest and then stumbled on another page the next day and found it for a lot cheaper.

Toni mentioned something in another thread that reminded me of something I take for granted.

Epsom Salts!

Brothers.....you feeling the pain after shredding your wheels in the gym? A hot bath with 2 cups of epsom salts will do you good!

But where's a brother to get the stuff on the cheap? The grocery store / pharmacy sells the shit for large $

Go to your local farm co-op. It turns out that those farmers use the shit to mineralize thier fields!

I get a 50 lb. bag of it for $16!!! And I use it every day!
