Hey guys post up your competition vids or your favorite powerlifting footage.
Here's a pretty crappy quality compilation of my lifts at a competition Jan. 31, 2006. I was sick for a week before this competition and the squats pretty much tired me out. I was pretty disappointed with my bench and deadlift.

Great video man. I have never done any powerlifting competitions, however i might start training and try an event next summer. Looks like you did a great job, and keep up the hard work.

Yeah it's great to have stuff to look back on. It really puts things into perspective because you don't notice your progress much day by day. Whether that is a video, pics or a journal.

Thanks, and I was in the 82.5kg weight class..
You guys are missing why I started this thread though! Even if you don't have your own vids post up some cool ones you've found. I think it'd be cool to have a growing compilation of powerlifting vids!

The Deadlift vid was 744,no belt. At the time I used Karins denim, But now I am sponsored by Inzer and use a Leviatan canvas Squat suit,best suit on the planet

What federation do you lift in? Were the vids taken around the same time?

I lift in several, IPA,APF,WPO Weight class is 242
The pull was at the GNC Show Of Strength in nov.2003
The squat was at the Nazareth Barbell Strength Spectacular in may 2004

I would not even dare to post a vid here and embarrass myself. All these vids are amazing. You guys are awesome and I am so proud and inspired by all of your hard work, committment and dedication..and love for the sport. Powerfreak i must say...extremely impressed...i really wasn't into powerlifting that much before, but the more i look at videos and see the lbs you guys are putting up...it gets me persuaded to maybe try it someday. far from where you are...but then again...i've never really trained that way. keep it up...you are an inspiration to us.
