Im in a little bit of struggle...my chest is my weak point of my body meaning my bench sucks. I was wondering if in order to up your wt do you need to lift heavy or will your wt go up in time? I dont use spotters because I dont have time to wait and count on others, also I dont go to the gym till 1am because I dont like dealing with others staring, trying to talk to me, shit that I dont go to the gym for. So I because no one is in there I dont lift that heavy. Is that going to keep me at a stalemate?

So I sit here on duty after a good workout, chest still throbbing 2hrs after my workout. And being the rookie I am and the knowledge I crave for this life I read all the articles I can in the 4 hrs of duty, and reading tonight about the Cage and the whole weekend full of events gets me pumped and want to go back in the gym and thrash my body somemore. Then I thought to myself after reading Blinding Light in a Blackout, the articles become depressing at the end when the weekend is over and won't be another weekend, with 102+ caged Animals on the loose in one city, for another year. Animal/Universal should hold seminars maybe twice a year bringing all the Animals accross the country to one place. Im sure people who love this life would make the trip to see and hear a wealth of knowledge from guys they look up to. I know I would as soon as I get back to the states, I would take leave in a heart beat to get there.

WTF....11pm i go to the gym normally no one is in there thats how i like it but there is occasionally a couple people in there running on the treadmill, no biggie. NOPE not tonight I get in there and there are 6 guys doing wat not picking up a fucking weight. then they start talking to me and asking me what i do in my job and shit that i just dont talk bout in the gym. so i answer their questions turn around and head to squat rack thinkn they would get the idea that im bout to start lifting...once again NOPE soon as i squat my first rep they start talking to me like im going to talk while im doing my reps. wat do u know im 30min into my workout and im still at the squat rack with these mucks all around me talking about bullshit. If I hadn't of taken my pump i would of left when I first walked in which in the end would of been the best thing to do, cause eventially after a hour of them non stop talking and me only on my 3rd exercise, when i should be done and barely able to walk back. so i said fuck it dropped the weights and walked out while the guy was in mid sentence. now im going back tomorrow morning to do it all over again cause people want to make friends at the gym. but hey i squated 20lbs more than normal tonight guess thats a plus.

Well it has been along time since Ive been, on here ran into some minor problems towards the end of my deployment, delaying my trainning. Now that I am back stateside I am starting all over again my weight is back down to my 140lbs. But, Im in a bind right now and need some help, I want to gain weight and be up to about 185lbs, I know it just wont show up in a matter of months but I want to see some progress. The problem, well problems I have is, 1. my high metabolism ( I got up to 160 on deployment and within 2 weeks it was gone.) 2. because I am in the military and my job in the Marines require me to stay in top shape (mostly they want you to be able to run a 18:00 3 miles) I cant just cut out cardio. this is what I feel is going to hinder my gains. and my last problem and biggest of them all is 3. Being a Recon Marine we train a lot which envolves irregular dieting and sleep habits. If anyone happens to read this and can give me positive or negative feedback that would be great.
