Whats up yaaaal?!?!!?


Ive been on these forums for a while now and finnally decided to make a journey.


Heres some things about myself. Some stats as well, and this weeks workout will be recorded.


My height is about 5'9 and I my offseason weight is around 245-280(today im 283)
My pre contest weight is mostly around 230-250 (even though I dont compete)
Im only 5'9 not that tall I know but Im built right so I dont look short :)

reading through i have some questions for ya...
in any given exercise i notice each set your upping the weight and going lower on reps, at which set(s) do you lift till failure? how many of these sets do you do at maximum intensity? im guessing the final set of each exercise but id like to know for sure. thanks.

also, i think ill subscribe to this one, its always good to learn from someone stronger!

my first 2-3 sets are working sets but i dont go to failure, on the very last set i will go to failure, thats what i call the "money set" the last set is when i lift that iron until it doesnt move anymore, and i mean if im benching or whatever and i cant get a full rep anymore i keep it on my chest and just bang out little partials(watch branch warrens training video and ull know what i mean).......wait till ya see my leg workout, itl be posted tommrrow morning

i dont have a specific list but it looks something like this


meal 1 food
100g protein (mostly meat, eggs)
50g of carbs (oats, white rice)

meal 2 food
50-80g protein
30g of carbs

meal 3 food
40-60g protein (fish)
50-80g carbs (rice or potatoes)

meal 4 liquid meal
50g of a whey shake
2 glasses of milk
4 scoops of gatorade

meal 5 food
80g of protein (random sources....could be anything)
50g of carbs (same)

meal 6
2 glasses of milk
2 serv cottage cheese
1 whey shake (depends on the day its either a scoop(20g) or the magic 2 scooper! (40-60g)


i pretty much eat whatever whenever i want haha

shoot idk, everyday is different but i always shoot for 3000 or more, sometimes i only get in like 4 meals, and actually idk what weight im going towards this time, because i may do wrestling (wwe) training camp thing, or i might do a little mma...OR!!!!! i might start competing in bodybuilding competitions and kick ass but posing in a thong really isnt my thing thats why i havent did it yet, you dont know how many people have suggested me to do bodybuilding competitions


but anyways, all im hoping for right now is the squat racks being open tommrow, my gym only has 1 squat rack

Hmmmm maybe incline 500 (like you said previously) for 10 reps then jump to deadlifts 600-700 lbs. for 10-12 reps...sounds like those kinda #s are right up your alley. I thought I was somewhat strong until I entered the realm of this journey.

500x3+1 forced rep, shit was heavier than i thought, wasnt pretty at all

dumbbell bench press

160x8+4 partials then imidiately
TRIPLE DROP SET
not sure what the weight was i was just plowing through dumbbells
all i know the reps ended up around 8-10 full reps and like 10 partials each set, it was grueling

due to growth purposes im going back to my old training split that I used during the past year, stopped doing it mainly because I got kinda bored so I wanted to try something different....oh and by the way anyone else watching ufc top 100 k-o's right now? haha well heres my split



monday- back, traps, forearms, abs
tuesday-rest
wednesday- quads, hams, calves
thursday- delts, triceps, biceps, forearms, abs
friday-rest
saturday- rest
sunday- chest, front delts


for some reason I cant seem to train calves twice a week, ive tried but ive always had my successes training calves once a week......if i ever meet "The House" im challenging him to a calf pose down, I think id take the title!!!

Due to the elbow injury? Hope you get that arm inline man, I am still recovering from a shoulder seperation. It sucks but dont rush the recovery, your body needs to heal so you can keep destroying the Iron.

Well some great advice I am sure you already know is let that shit heal. RICE man, belive its Rest, Ice, Compression, Elevation. Use those techniques as I am sure you already know and you will be back in much shorter time. I seperated my shoulder and with proper recovery time I just hit 405 Deadlift twice for the first time 3 weeks later. Just rest up and work around your injuries. We got your back here man.

just got back from hitting legs, i had the same back pain....but it only lasted like maybe 3 or 4 min then it went away so i think im gonna stick with hack squats and leg presses for awhile

I did


hack squats (it was a hammer strength version with a stack)
did 3 working sets of 10-12 reps (didnt go to heavy and didnt go to failure for reasons)

leg press (put a load of plates no knee pain baby!)
did 3 working sets of 10

supersetted the leg presses with hack squats with light weight
3x10

then for calves

seated calf raise
a few plates 3x15-20

hack squat calf raise 3x15-20

i only did 2 exercises for calves because i noticed my calves stop growing when i did too much

well anyways pretty successful workout

resting tommrrow

hitting chest and delts on saturday so that itl leave me with a day of rest before my back session

Picking 225 up and standing there with it or trying to swing that kind of weight up doesn't count as a curl bro. Trust me my arms are twice as big as yours and I've never even come close to that kind of weight....

Just got back from hitting delts, man I was super pumped!!

hammer strength shoulder press 5x8-10 (only went up to a few plates today)
dumbbell bent over lateral 3x15
machine side lateral 5x8-12
machine shoulder press 3x10 last set a drop set
reverse pec deck 3x15-20
front dumbbell raise 3x10 last set a drop set
cable raises 2x10 with a drop set each set (1st set side, 2nd set rear delt)


delts are burning right now!!

usually I dont use machines but I wanted some variety from it, plus I never really found what works for my shoulders so maybe some of these machines can help me

tommrrow is a rest day

Do they allow kids under 18 in at MetroFlex? If so, I'm sure he'll be there. Just back off when there is 700+ being ripped off the ground and 625 being squatted for easy reps. gonna hit it hard tomorrow!! training 2 days in metro, friday got chest, saturday some back, if i go for a heavy number ill see if brian (if you dont know who brian is....wow) can tape it some how and put it in his website so i can finally prove my strengths to you Animals!!!!!

i currently weigh in at 301.9 (so pretty much 302 pounds)

my bodyfat is pretty high right now, if i had to guess id say prolly 25 percent but my abs are still a little visible and my vascularity still shows, so im not quite a fat ass just yet haha

I think im going to dedicate my life to bodybuilding, well I mean competing, its hard to find shows around where I live but im going to start looking.

I think Ill do solid in this sport, I have pretty decent strength but I do have my weaknesses, Ive had bodybuilders such as new and upcoming ones and I have met some pro's....like Jay Cutler, Phil Heath, Bob Chicrello (not sure if thats how you spell it ha) but yeah over here on the west coast its pretty lame. But usually on x-mas break or something we go up to vegas and golds gym is the place ill train at so sometimes I get lucky and get to meet people.

Jay Cutler said that I have one of the best backs hes ever seen compared to all the new guys, he was shocked when I told him I was 16 (im 17 now), he did say my weakness was my upper chest fullness, bicep peak, overall delt development.

If he saw me now he'd prolly say, USA's right? oh haha I forgot man.....your only 17.

thanks man, for back id say deadlifts,barbellrows, dumbbell rows will put mass on your back no matter what!! and for the chest basic movements for chest like presses but try some dumbbell press flys, its a motion with your elbows tucked like a fly but dont extend your arms out too much like a normal dumbbell fly, and then press it up with a hammer grip, if i had a vid id show you but its the same movement as a fly and a press and the benefits of a squat, itl make ya grow!

yeah you can but id alternate them, if your a competitive body builder then id do both in the same workout, but what ever you want, just make sure you do those exercises
