"Guys who don't have them disappear when they turn sideways" we all love that one. Ok its fucking january so that means the gyms gonna be packed for two weeks with people who are gonna "get in shape this year". I go to northeastern university so that means about all 15,000 people here use that gym. n this means i have to do what we all hate doing when we work out...wait. I like doing reverse flyes for rear delts on the flye machine but they were all taken. So i go to the cables, set the pully to about upper chest height and and did 4 iso sets for both sides (two sets of 12 and two sets of 10). If u make sure you're doing the same motion that you would do on the reverse flye machine the pump you get is rediculous. I've never felt my rear delts like that before, i couldn't even move my arms back......Im pretty sure im not the first one to think of that but I just wanted to share that with all you guys

last night I found another great way to isolate rear delts - it's on the smith and looks a lot like a bent over row, but it's not. the only difference is that you're standing much more upright than you are for a row, probably at about 1:00 if 12:00 is standing straight up. i do them with my wrists a little wider than shoulder width. and if your smith moves on an angle, stand so the bar move away from you on the way up. control the rep, raise it to your lower chest, focus on the delt, and you'll see what i'm talking about. and if you're as lucky as i was, you'll have some know-it-all power lifter try to tell you that you're doing your rows all wrong - there's nothing that annoys me more than a f*ckin meatball trying to talk about form...

strong rear delts provide a stronger launching pad for bench presses
besides i like the plateau'd side view, and the burn when you're working them hard is so exquisite

all heavy rows, and rear shrugs blast the shit outta them and remember to squeeze back there till its gonna explode

Try doing lat pulldowns, put bull the bar to your nose, not your chest. It'll help to work your rear delts. By the way are you working out at the Marina center? That place is real nice.

For rear delts i like to do Seated Bent Over Rows, but bring the dumbbel towards your shoulder. I feel a crazy burn and my shoulders have improved greatly. I understand you to man because my gym is packed now as well, but i go at 9pm by that time everyone is gone in my gym. Just chose a time when no one is around, it makes it all the easier.

Hey bro ive been told ive got the best rear delts in the gym...big fuckin deal, but anyways i got mine started from my boxing backround same with my shoulders...but a good workout is on a multi pulley machine that you would do chest flys on,cross your arms and grab the ball stoppers,no handels and keep your arms straight and fully extend them 4 sets of 10,then bent over reverse flys 3 sets of 8,and when you see a machine military press sit backwards on it and it works front delts great along with the rear..hope this helps
Peace
