View Full Version : How many Animal Paks do you take and when?

On most days I take one pak with my biggest meal, which is breakfast. If I am on really low calories or feeling run down or didn't get much sleep I will take two paks a day and it does make a difference.
How many do you take a day brothers?
Usually I pop one pack with breakfast. On days I do split sessions, I'll take another with dinner. On hard training days I like knowing that I have nutritional insurance.

one a.m. and one p.m. lucky i haven't been sick lately, but if so i hit one a.m. and one right before some sick time cardio.

One per day....unless cutting carbs, helps with the sluggish, listless, lothargic feeling.

Once a day, right before I train, along with shock therapy. They work really well together for an awesome pump.
One pack a day. First "big" breakfast, right after training.
1 pack with breakfast... until pre-contest, then 1 with breakfast, 1 with 7:30pm meal...
Like the majority.. in the AM
1 after breakfast, and i dont wait 30 mins like directions state.

Hey there, well personally I love the the Women's Fitness Pak. I swear by them. I have done 6 shows and I have taken them the whole time and I have never gotten sick and I always maintain great endurance and strength even though I am dieting strickly. As for the Animal Pak, I know that Frank takes two paks per day. He also swears by them. Amazing products.

I usually take two a day because I am a 340 pound powerlifter. I need to because I am so big to get anything out of it. I did take one a day for a while but got better results with two pack a day. And even if I cut weight to 310 I would still have to take two a day.
One with breakfast/ morning protein shake.
Second with early 4th meal/ lunch.

WO evening/night I take first thing A.M. AND one 30 min PreWO=
covered allday/WO, LOVE THE PAK!!!
starting ST/S in 30 minutes I just ate 15 minutes ago ill be at the gym in 45 minutes, cant wait!!!

Hey guys I am a little confused I was checking out in certain websites how much supplements costs, and I came up on this thing that says your supposed to take Animal Pak 30 minutes after your meal before the workout, and yet I here people are taking it in the morning. Does it really matter when you take it?
Nah, if you actually feel some more energy then you can take it pre-WO if you want, as a multi timing isn't too important though. A lot of people just take it in the morning so they know that they're nutritionally taken care of for the day. I also remember wrath takin it down immediately PWO even before his Nitro.

i personally feel that anything that can give me a little bit more of a pump should be done, no questions asked...and i feel like pak helps a bit...but thats just me. So i take it prelift

Breakfast for me. When you wake from not eating all night you need to reload the body of all that it has missed while sleeping.

I have been taking one with lunch, then another right at bed time. I have read that taking a multi at night helps with absortion. I hit the weights in the A.M. Sometimes when I urinate first thing in the morning its neon. And sometime its not, so I can tell when I have really been low on the Vitimins and when im where i should be.
taking mine with lunch works for me

I hate vegetables so I begin my day with vegetables usually a carrot. I try to wolf down more vegetables around 10 AM in the form of broccoli or cauliflower. At lunch time I am working with mixed salad so I am pouding those nutrients via whole foods early on. Around 4 I slam down my pak right as I am starting my dynamic stretching. I find this works for me because I just have to get thoes whole veggie foods in before noon. Knowing I have the bulk of my veggies in makes taking the pack a reward.

i take with a meal cause along with the vitamins, minerals.....etc all that good shit, it also has digestive enzymes.

Hey everyone, im new to this site and animal supplements. I recently purchased the animal pak multivitamin pak cause ive heard a lot of good stuff about it. It says to take it 30 after the meal prior to your workout. ive read that you should take a multivitamin directly after your workout so that the minerals and vitamins and stuff help you recover and get pushed inside your cells (or something along those lines). Should i take the pak before or after the workout? what are the advatages to taking it before the workout? and if i should take it before the workout, about how long should this meal be before your workout?

Well man i always take my animal pak in the morning after breakfast and i dont work out till about 2:30 everyday. I think it helps to take animal pak then so i get my key vitamins during the day to help my workout and i take a regular multi at night before bed. I know alot of people take the pak after breakfast but i also used to take it before a workout and notice a help too. Just try different things and see what you like.

well what i've been doing is taking it as instructed, and taking half a MultiPro32x after my workout and the other half before bed. what does everyone else do? or has anyone noticed what gives the best results?
Since your new to this site, there is a search function that allows you to search for questions or topics that may have already been addressed in the forum. Just a little bit of knowledge.... Welcome to the forum though you will find that there is no other forum out there like this one...
G'day - Quick Q - i take 1 animal pak p/day (im only 155lbs) - should i take with meal 1 or with my last for recovery? i dont think the energy providing ingredients will stop me from sleeping...
most take it with their breakfast or lunchtime meal, keeps your vitamin stores topped up and ready to go for the rest of the day.

take it with the biggest meal of the day. If you dont eat that big of a breakfast, take it with lunch.

I read the question on another post but did not read the answer. When do you take the pak (as recommended - 1/2 hour after meal prior to training). How about on off days. Is it better to take on an empty stomach or with some food. I work out in the evening so would I be losing some nutrients to the bowl if I take the pak in the morning? Definitely feel more energy on the Pak and god bless the person who does the whole pak in 1 or 2 swallows.

I think the timing of when to "pop the pak" depends on your training schedule and other supplement arsenal. If you take, say Pump/S.therapy/Storm/Stak2 or M-Stak pre workout, then i think the body will be covered for maximum nutrient intake, so if on a budget, pop the pak with brekkie a.m. If Pak is the only supp you carry then i would suggest 120-90mins pre-workout meal, 90-30mins pre-workout pop pak. Of course post workout you should never jus rely on Pak. If your serious about your body and health after lifting then a proper post workout strategy should be in order, Amino's, Glutamine, Creatine, Protein shake. If on a tight budget, already loaded with supps and have already taken Pak a.m, but feel the need for extra vits and minerals, then dare i say it, take a regular multi post workout too.

Much like most of the guys I would imagine, I increase that to two when I am cutting ready for a comp'.
One tends to work fine for most people!

For maximum absorption you should always take the pak with food.
I take one pak a day and thats right before i train. i think the amino acid in there really helps plus the vitamin when training and after when doing cardio. keeps the muscle away from being burned.
Hey guys Im just wondering when you take animal pak on training days and non training days, it says to take it 30 minutes after your pre-workout meal, and thats what I do, and on non-training days I just take it an hour after breakfast. Is this how most of you do it?

what you do is fine bro, but i would take it right after breakfast. they get absorbed better after a meal i do believe. Because burping them can hurt sometimes.
Training or non-training, I take it while eating my first meal. at the very least, I just take it with any meal I can...but one way or the other, it's going down the hatch, as a multi the timing isn't the most important. Just try to get it in with or close to a meal.
