Due to the fact that Animal/Universal is freaking awesome, I was picked to run two cans of the reformulated Animal Cuts. For the first can, I'm gonna be taking the entire formula. The second can is going to be done with the red stim pill removed. Here I'm gonna be logging my workouts/diet/feelings/sentiments/emotions/happy times/sad times/indifferent times/you get the idea times/etc.

I'm also gonna look into getting some before/after pictures done, as well as body fat percentages taken along the way.

I'm gonna be starting this more or less ASAP, but I figure I'll post my workouts and whatnot for now, up until I get my sweet package in the mail.

It's time to get angry.

This is going ot be an interesting promo!!

Yeah man, I'm really pumped for this.

Also... even though I haven't gotten my cans yet, I'm gonna start posting up my workouts for the day, and as I get my shipment, add in my daily food intake, as well as the supplement stack I plan to use.

So what better day to start posting my logs, than on my favorite day, deadlift day. As of late I've been training in more of a powerlifting-oriented way, which I've found really works for me.

Deadlift (Ed Coan week 4):
5x135x2
2x225
1x275
1x315
1x365
2x410
3x340x3 sets done back to back to back

Low Box Squats:
3x135
2x225
1x315
2x345

Lat Pulldowns:
8x170
5x195
5x195

Power Cleans:
7x135
8x135

Relatively short and sweet today, all done in about 50 minutes. I don't usually do power cleans, but my lifting partner sort of went with a "Why the hell not?" approach to them, so we did them. Kept the weight somewhat low on them, just to get my form back. I also do a fair bit of box work, and use a fairly wide stance, to really hit my hamstrings.

You should be doing all of the prescribed assistance work in the Ed Coan program....

Right, I usually do, but for the interest of time that day we just needed to get in and out.

I'm going to be making a few tweaks to my lifting routine, but the rest of the assistance lifts are gonna be back in full swing next week.

Little background on myself, before we get this ball rolling. Turn the clocks back a little more than a year ago and I was a 265lb neckbearding World of Warcraft addict with a busted up knee (tore my ACL, then proceeded to do *nothing* as soon as I was done with physical therapy) and even worse eating/drinking habits. A typical night for me would be a 750mL bottle of whiskey or rum (to start), and God knows what junk food that one could pair with it. After I finally saw myself, I had decided that it was time for a drastic change. I cut down on the drinking considerably, and started actually watching what was going in the feed hole, alongside regular exercise. Come back to today, and here I stand at 6'1" and 213lbs, with such a greater knowledge of things than before, I can't even begin to describe. I have just been stuck around this weight for a while, and feel as if I still have some more to lose. My goal weight for the time being is about 195lbs, something that I feel I can easily obtain, given that I bust my ass like none other, so here we go.

Day 1 of the new Animal Cuts. I slept like total ass the night before, getting maybe 4 hours total; needless to say, my alarm going off at 5:50am didn't make me too happy. Rolled out of bed, slammed the first pack of Cuts... and then holy shit. I was full of energy, and ready to go. I am really liking this. My energy throughout the day was constant (I am at work at my school's IT Center from 8am - 4:30pm; it can get freaking boring there at times) Here's my schedule for the day.

6am: Cuts
6:10 - 6:45: Cardio (went for a run all around town, 3 miles or so distance)
7:15: Meal 1 - 6 eggs, 1c of oatmeal, Pak, 4 Uni-Liver
11:00: Cuts 2
11:30: Meal 2 - 8oz chicken, 1/3c brown rice, Omega, 4 Uni-Liver
3:00: Meal 3 - 8oz chicken, 8oz sweet potato, Joint-V, 4 Uni-Liver
4:30 - 5:30: Lift
5:45: 50g Just-WHEY, 5g Glutamine
7:45 or so: 8oz chicken/ground turkey, salad
10:00: 8oz chicken/ground turkey, salad

Yeah... I bet this diet looks familiar to some of you. :P
Oh and CuttDeez, I totally stole your green tea/fiber mix today; it was fantastic, to say the least.

And as for my lift today...

Pre-Workout: Storm, 3 Beta Ala9, 3 BCAA Max

Intra: EAA Stack (Juicy Watermelon)

Chest/Biceps:

Flat Bench:
10 x 135
10 x 185
6 x 225
4 x 275 + 2 forced reps drop to...
4 x 225 + 2 forced reps

Incline DB Press:
12 x 50s
8 x 70s
8 x 70s

Incline DB Flys:
10 x 30s
10 x 35s
10 x 40s

Barbell Curl:
15 x bar
10 x 65
4 x 95 drop to...
10 x bar

Seated Alternate DB Curl:
8 x 30s
8 x 30s
8 x 35s

Barbell 21s:
bar
bar

Post-Workout: 50g Just-WHEY, 5g Glutamine. I'm prolly gonna down some more BCAA Max for future lifts.

This was my first time in months doing anything over 5 reps in terms of a chest workout (been going heavy as of late, keeping to 3 or less reps outside of a warmup). Today's lift overall felt really, really good. I changed my split up a bit for this promo, wanted to incorporate more reps into things, so I can get a really good burn, and holy crap did I. Ending the workout with those 21s... oh yeah.

Yeah man, that drink is magic.

Legs.

Squat:
Warmup
20 x 135
20 x 165

Leg Press:
40 x 2 pps
40 x 2 pps
25 x 3 pps

DB Lunges:
10 x 30s
10 x 30s

Stiff-Legged Deads:
10 x 135
10 x 185
10 x 225

Calf Raises:
20 x 2 pps
20 x 2 pps
20 x 3 pps

The burn today was out of this world. The 20-rep squats were awesome. Having never done *anything* quite like that, I kept the weights low, just to gauge how things were gonna be; the 165 wasn't too horrific, so next time I go for 20-rep I'll slap 185 on and see how it is. I just wish my school's gym wasn't total shit (we don't have anything to do leg extensions/lying leg curls on... or any machines outside of a lat pulldown/seated row machine for that matter). Just gotta make do with what I have, I suppose.

Food/Supps for the day:
7:00: Cuts
7:15: 6 eggs, 1c oatmeal, Pak, 4 Uni-Liver
11:00: Cuts 2
11:30: Meal 2 - 8oz chicken, 8 oz sweet potato, Omega, 4 Uni-Liver
3:00: Meal 3 - 8oz chicken, 1/3c brown rice, Joint-V, 4 Uni-Liver
4:30 - 5:30: Lift
6:00: 50g Just-WHEY, 5g Glutamine
7:45 or so: 8oz chicken/ground turkey, salad
10:00: 8oz chicken/ground turkey, salad

Pre-Workout: Storm, 3 Beta Ala9 (I love this stuff), 3 BCAA Max
Intra: EAA Stack
Post: 3 BCAA Max, 2 Amino Max, 50g Just-WHEY, 5g Glutamine

Yesterday plain sucked. It looked a bit like this.

7:00 - Cuts
7:15 - 6 eggs, 1c oatmeal, Pak, 4 Uni-Liver
2:00 - 8oz chicken, 8oz sweet potato, Omega, 4 Uni-Liver
3:30 - Cuts 2 (Yeah... shitty timing on that one)
6:00 - 8oz chicken, Nature Valley bar
10:45 - 30g whey, 5g glutamine, 2 tbsp natty peanut butter

I was stuck in offices yesterday doing software upgrades from 9:00 - 1:45, unable to leave and get my meals in.

The one positive from yesterday was the 2 hours of floor hockey from 8:00 - 10:00pm.

Today... I'm stuck doing more upgrades (updating from Office 2003 to Office 2007 on extremely crappy computers). Here's to hoping I can manage a break inbetween machines and get my meals in at the normal times.

Shoulders/Tris and diet for the day to come later.

Huge Reps on those squats and presses brother!!

Good looking on the supps. YOu like the beta al9 I see?!

Keep up the good work. I know it can be hard at work to time the meals but you are getting the work in!

Haha yeah. Gotta find some non-crappy batteries for my camera (it just rips through them), then they'll be up.

And yes, I love Beta Ala9. It was my first Universal product, and I thoroughly enjoy it, and it's gonna be a staple of my supplement stacks for a while to come.

Normally while at work, I can time them pretty well, but yesterday was just a train wreck. My school is cheap as hell, and thinks that it can squeak by on the bare minimum in terms of our hardware, so trying to install Office 2007, alongside other various software programs on a machine with only 256MB RAM took for freaking ever (~30 minutes to install Firefox). And with my job, I'm basically on-call to go anywhere on campus at any point to fix everyone's crap. I don't have a scheduled lunch break; it's when things are most convenient for everyone else, or when I have that spare 5 minutes of down-time to cram food down my throat. I'm really waiting for classes to start so I'll actually have gaps of time to get my meals in.

Good! Good work. Sometimes it takes scarfing food in 30 seconds ha ha. Whatever it takes my friend! 256 RAM is molasus dude I just bought a new laptop with 4 gig and it was a middle of the line laptop!

Alright here's the damage for the day.

For reasons unknown to me, my school's gym was closed today. Thankfully, one of the faculty who I've helped with some IT issues teaches Power Yoga at a local fitness center, so she had hooked me up with a boatload of guest passes. Today was Shoulders/Triceps

7 x 65

25 minutes elliptical as a cool down.

Overall I felt pretty good about today, considering I was without a spotter, and in an environment outside of my shoddy school's gym. My gym had damn well better be open tomorrow, because it's deadlifting day, and I don't think the place I was at allows deadlifts or chalk. I really need to start upping my cardio, I'm falling behind on it.

Back in the swing of things today... outside of cardio. Alarm went off, hopped out of bed, ready to go, then BOOM, a thunderstorm hit Chicago. I was mildly pissed, seeing as how the only form of cardio I have available to me at the current time are my feet, and whatever terrain is in front of me, and I wasn't feeling too keen on pneumonia today.

Weighed in at 210.8, which is a 2.2lb loss from the start of the first week. So far I'm thoroughly enjoying this reformulated Cuts; my energy is constant throughout the day, I'm never feeling sluggish at work, even when it can get *extremely* dull.

Legs tomorrow, bring the pain.
