Be careful when doing zero carbs..its meant as a temporary method in dieting..mainly when preparing for ashow and getting yourself where you need to be in a certain amount of time.

I would suggest having at least fiber in the morning...oats...oat bran cereal...at least 25g of carbs..with some soluble fiber there. You can have lettuce leaves, a small salad..you must have something to work all that protein through your system...drink loads and loads of water too. Your kidneys and liver do alot of extra work in trying to break down and process all that protein without carbohydrates assisting in the process.

From personal experience,I would only do the Zero "starch" for short period of time. You will not only feel terrible but mentally you will break.
Better get alot of fiberous veggies,as well as essential fats.

I also believe in the Moderate Fat version of a Carb Cycle...

Soo, a really good No-Carb meal is, Ground Turkey w/ Egg Whites and Bacon.. All cooked at once on the skillet... Season it with Chili, Paprika, Salt-Pepper, and maybe some Crushed Red Pepper...

Its good =)

*btw* did you get your tix yet to the npc show?

I love Costco for this.

1. 2 bag bonless chicken breasts. Pan fried in water for moistness
2. 2 bag hamburger lean or not doesn't matter for me
3. 2 bags romaine lettuce, mostly filler but some nutritional value over iceberg.
4. Meat from local meat market, pork and pork sausages, buffalo if I can get it, steaks, and a zillion other cool things these guys hook me up with resulting in 0 carbs. Plus these guys are cheaper in bulk.
5. Case of tuna
6. big ole' jug O' full fat mayo and mustard
7. Olives for everything
8. taco seasoning packets

Hope that helps some!

thanks Tom! haha put the whole grocery list together for me--a lazy mans dream

and Arbalest, I haven't picked up the tix yet b/c I'm low on cash but they said they aren't selling like crazy so hopefully I'll be able to pick them up next week--I'm definitely not going to miss it!

BTW I am probably going to start tracking my progress in training and I have been *gasp* spending the last 3 weeks in the 20 carbs or less area and i take a lot of flack for it. If you're interested you can probably find some real low (usually not 0) carb meals I assemble real quick during the day and I am not a good cook at all so these are quickies! I try to keep each meal at or under 5g.

Arbalest is right bro. With three weeks of under 20 you won't be shielding your children anytime soon. Just sayin'...

LOL!!! Nah, I'll build back up and get off this craziness end of next week. For me it has always been the quickest way to shed big pounds in a hurry and shrink my stomach enabling me to get full on properly portioned meals. I used to eat like this for months at a time a few years back but as you all know it's not a realistic way to eat long term. Appreciate the look out brothers!
