View Full Version : Most ideal time to take Pak...
The can suggests to take it thirty minutes after eating your pre-workout meal. However, a lot of people say to take it with breakfast. What do you all think?

I take it with breakfast but as long as you take it with a meal your good.

Most guys just take it in the AM with breakfast.

Another vote for Breakfast. If Pak is the only supplement you are taking then 1/2 hour after the meal before you workout is great. Many of us are taking Animal Pump or some other pre-workout supplement though so the Pak makes the most sense at breakfast time. Just keep it consistent. Whenever you decide to take it, take it at that time every day. 1/2 hour after you eat is always best though no matter what meal you are taking it with.

I either take it with breakfast, or my post workout meal, which is when the body needs nutrients the most...

I normally shoot for breakfast, but sometimes I will only have time for a shake, and im kinda picky and prefer taking Pak with a whole food meal..

Breakfast is always a safe bet, it becomes routine, you take it with a meal and u rarely miss it with your sched.
I take mine either with my postworkout shake or post workout meal that follows my shake, about 20-40 minutes after the shake. The reason being for me to do this is that I take in the bulk of my carbohydrates at this time, and i believe with two meals ( a liquid one of aminos/carbs and a solid one of protein and carbs) absorption of the nutrients in the pak is increased. As well Pak contains ALA, which regulates insulin within the body helping creatine uptake along with simple sugars, which is what is in my post workout shake.

That sounds pretty legit. Maybe I'll try that out!
bro take pak as early as you could i been taking pak for past 3 yrs n early is the best time pz
breakfast here also!! But I make sure to have at least half a liter of water inside my belly before then chug a lug some more with the pak
15 to 20 minutes after breakfast.... One pak per day.

On the flipside, I like to take mine right before bed to promote overnight recovery. I suspect I'm in the minority though.

I was just reading another thread where a pro bodybuilder told a Pak user to take it at night... I think there may be more than you think.

I always felt like I absorbed the Pak better when I take it with my last meal.

Do you think that Pak can be a significant aid towards muscle recovery/growth? I know when we sleep and reach a catabolic state that is the WORST time for muscle recovery.

Not completely true. Yes, we can reach a catabolic state, but a lot of that talk is just companies trying to sell a product. Sleep is an extremely important step in recovery and growth, and having the necessary nutrients will help in order to maximize GH release and other hormone releases. So, Pak before sleep can work well. But honestly, one a day is all you need, and timing doesn't matter too much as long as you take it with a meal.

if u want help with recovery at night u should check out universal nutritions GH MAX. Pretty good stuff and not that expensive either that way u can do pak for bf and ghmax right before bed.

I like it better at night, but there's really not much difference, you're still getting the same nutrients.

My intent is to make my body work for me, even when I'm sleeping. I take a blended shake right before bed that contains cassein which allows for a sustained protein release throughout the night keeping me in a positive nitrogen balance. I take Pak along with this shake in order to take advantage of the vitamins and minerals, as well as the extensive amino complex, I believe they are more easily absorbed into my system when I am sleeping, as I have no other sustenance during this period. I'm pleased with the results of this so far.
I work out right away in the morning, and upon waking I take either Cuts or Stak, depending on which cycle I am on, followed by a shake fifteen minutes later, then off to the gym.
U-rep, do you have a link handy to that thread? I'd be interested in reviewing it.
Always take mine with breakfast.
