I always get excited when I see a new article on the front page, and this one didn't let down. Really reminded me of some stuff we so often forget. Great piece.

Printed out the article on my way to the gym, I like Big Al's style: 'But Big Al, “I eat a lot but I can’t gain the weight.” Are you eating 10-12 egg whites and 1 1/2-2 cups of oats for breakfast? What’s that? You don’t like eating first thing in the morning? Well then, here's my advice to you... Pick another pursuit, as this one ain’t for you.' Priceless.

Looking forward to your future articles Big Al.

Offseason for me is harder than pre-contest, and this article tells it like it is; it's not a glory ride all year long and the work you put into your body in the offseason will make your presence on stage felt in big ways.

Mean and Animal are how I would describe the article.

Thanks Big Al. I need exactly that type of article to get my head back on my shoulders. Sometimes It can be a pain in the ass to stay focused on getting big. I love being cut. Getting big is hard for me simply because I look in the mirror and I want to fucking scream at myself for being a lard-ass. Other people say "Oh, you're not fat, just chubby," or "You're not that fat, really," but for me, an ounce of fat too much may as well be 30% fucking BF. But damn, we gotta eat and accept a little fat to grow. I love articles like this that remind me of that fact. Thanks again Al. Peace.

I thought it was another new article... Then I saw it was the one about Building a Big Fortress... I read that the day it hit the site and I would agree with the rest of you brothers.. GREAT!!! I posted that on my myspace page for all my friends that lift to read because so many of them dont do what is needed to get bigger and think they can cheat and still get bigger... but Big Al... good article bro and thanks G Diesel for postin it!!!

great article -- back to the basics brothers. Fuck all that men's health jump up and down and throw this in the air drives me nuts in the gym. When is animal going to start a gym that doesn't have the shiny machines? Then I will be in heaven.

Oh ok, realized a little after that for certain reasons that wasn't exactly an appropriate question to ask anyhow. Sorry about that one.

Great article btw, read it several times over.
