When I was bulking, I'd have off days and I just wouldn't come to the gym.
I'm dieting on keto right now and on "off" days, I do calves and cardio. Do I need to do cardio every day, even on off days? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of off days?

nah, calves and steady state cardio isnt very taxing on your system, its more "active recovery." I would probably take one day completely off just to let the body relax, but you dont have to.

Im doing keto right now. I do cardio every single day. I have one "off" day but its just from weights. Cardio is very important.

plus at 17 you are recovering fast anyway (most likely)
