Well this is the beginning of my 3rd journey. With Rage's Iron Contest over, I had to take a week off and gather my thoughts and regroup. It was a great experience...I've never trained harder or put as much effort into my lifting and diet as I did. Rage was absolutely awesome to work with and I plan on working with him again in the future.

For the time being, I'm keeping my training the same just switching days around. I will be doing chest/shoulders on Monday, back on Tuesday, legs on Friday and arms/abs on Saturday. Fits my schedule perfectly. I'm gonna work mainly on bringing my chest up a bit and getting some more back thickness.

Expect the same hardcore training and attitude I've always brought to the table. Currently weighing around 257 so if I can get over 260 and it's clean I'll be happy. Also looking forward to seeing everyone at the 2010 Arnold Classic.

Today was my first day back since last Friday. I felt refreshed and a new sense of energy and determination. I keep telling myself the sky is the limit.

My benching went fairly well then hot really warm all over and some feverish aches...not good. I finished and went hope and took some vitamins and green tea. I thought...boy I'm gonna be sick....but I seemed to have slept it off. Hittin back here in few.....

Tonight was a night I really got some of that fire back.....maybe I've been training alone for too long, but my old training partner was back from the dead tonight after being sidelined w/ extensive injuries....another Big Chris....only he outweighs me by about 20 pounds. Surprised to see him in there but we were getting started at the same time and decided to hit back together.

Barbell Rows: 2 wu's. 315 x 10, 365 x 10

CG Hammergrip Pulldowns: 2 wu's. 230 x 10, 250 x 10

Plateloaded Seated Rows: 2 wu's. 270 x 10, 290 x 10

Standing Longbar Rows: 1 wu. 140 x 10, 140 x 10

Legs were really fresh after almost 2 weeks off from hittin em...for some reason 405 felt heavy today so I checked my ego and dropped back down. Wasn't happy...but I'll try to climb back up the ladder. I've noticed some serious leg growth since the start of Rage's contest...which is exactly what I needed. It's all about balance. Arms on Saturday!

Cybex Extensions: 1 x 40, 1 x 30, 1 x 20

BB Squats: 2 wu's. 315 x 5, 315 x 5, 405 x 5, 315 x 5, 315 x 5

Vertical Leg Presses: (On Smith) 2 wu's. 3 x 15

Freak Blasters: 3 x 10

I'm can't remember the specifics of your past leg workouts. But I personally like to switch every couple months how I do my squats. I can work with 405 for a couple TOUGH sets of 8-10, but every now and then I feel like things aren't progressing, so I'll do like you did and drop down, but I then hit some high reps.

Next time in there, see if you can't ride that 315 for a set of 20. It's a completely different kind of pain, and if you do it for a few weeks, that 405 moves smoother when you return to it.

Just a suggestion, either way your killing it in there.

Good workout today then decided to try a new mexican joint that just opened...tore that up....great stuff....tons of beef burritos, soft tacos, beans and rice for like 8 bucks. I will be going back soon lol....but only on the weekend. Just kickin back on Halloween night and watchin some horror flicks...and eating more of course.

Yeah man I used the safety pins no need for a freak accident...didn't go too heavy though....I think sometimes they wreck my legs worse than the standard Leg press.

Hahaha thanks a lot Broc. Real important anatomy exam tomm morning i studied my ass off today I need to redeem myself from my last exam. I think my rowing has gotten a lot better since I watched House's vid.....I'm not bending over quite as much and I'm keeping the bar closer to my legs, instead of way out - which made it a little uneasy and harder on my back.


Dude if I could do 405 for 6 I'd spread my wings and fly around town. That is some serious weight. Very impressive

I wanna get even thicker and stronger this winter so that means I need to keep challenging myself.....too many kids bullshitting in there 2nite just had to keep my nose down and get the job done. I was even kinda embarrassed to even be benching on a monday since that's all everyone does in my gym on mondays. I just wanted to try 185 on the front raises...never have before, a little too heavy for me right now my form was not the greatest and I hate to swing too much.

Sup Enforcer.....it was originally from Rage's program and I really like it and I'm used to it now, I've added some shoulder width and more thickness for sure - but yeah it is an adjustment no doubt.. What I usually do is rotate exercises chest/shoulder/chest/shoulder, etc. ......But lately I've been hitting my 3 chest movements and then 3 shoulder b/c I feel my chest could use more work.

Real fun driving 2 hrs and arriving at the hotel, that's not on the gps,only to get to bed at 1am and back up at 6am to drive back to Ashland. Holiday was good bro thanx for askin gettin ready for my favorite one comin up. It's a real good combo and I like the pump Storm gives me intra-workout. Haha don't know why Intra-aid just never did the trick for me but to each his own!

I've had the worst headache today but managed to make it to the gym. More than likely I will sleep it off. Actually had a great workout....looking forward to burgers and pizza this weekend. Been craving all week lol.

Heavy Extensions: wu. 4 x 10 increasing weight up to 250

Smith Machine Squats: 3 wu's. 315 x 8, 315 x 8, 405 x 5, 405 x 5, 225 x 10 ...all sets were as deep as I could go

Hack Squats: 2 triple drop sets from 3 pps down to 1 pps, 10 reps each

Standing 1-Leg Ham Curls: 3 x 10/10

Freak Blasters: 3 x 10

Walking Lunges: 1 set body weight many as I could do, 1 set holding 50's

Adductor: 3 x 12
