Well, I've always been one of the bigger girls in my life. I threw in high school and college, which left me one thing and one thing only to do...lift. I was putting up good numbers until I went through a bad time and lost about 40 pounds, shortly after that I joined the Navy, all they do here is run, run and run some more. It took me about one year to get back to the gym to lift once more, but again life changes things and I was unable to keep it up. Now I am sitting deployed with nothing more to do than lift and have already made the changes needed to keep it in my life now. With the support and great leadership of a friend I am back into it and gaining fast. I have begun to get back to where I was, not as strong, but getting there. How I am right now is working, the workout I am doing is:
Monday:Lats
Tuesday:Tri/Bi
Wednesday: Legs
Thursday: Back
Friday: Chest

I know I new and still very small to most, but I am willing to learn from anyone who is willing to teach. I am always looking to those who know more than me to learn. So this is me in a nut shell.

Good job, glad you could finally get on here. Keep up the log, it will let you know where you were, and where you will be. You've done great so far, keep it up. You got some harder times coming up. But you can do it.

First thing first...Thank you for serving we are all honored to have you join the Forvm.

Secondly, like was said above there is a section that has the title journey. That is a great place to start your journey back into this game.

Lastly, this place doesn't care about where you are now. We only care about how we can help each other get to where we want to be. If you have the self drive then the resources available on this site will definately help you.

Welcome aboard. Here's a thread you should check out:

Also a group you might want to visit:

There are many of the members here that are currently deployed, or have been deployed, so you're not alone. As was already mentioned, starting a journey would be a good next step, just start a post in this section:

Alot of us here have gone through what you're going through, losing alot of strength in favor of endurance exercises that the military favors, but no worries, as you've already discovered, it comes back quick.
