View Full Version : Getting stupid. Mass/strength training

Ok guys i figured id be smart and keep tabs on how things are going. I do have a log i carry around while training, but i figured id let you guys know how im doing.

Right now im doing a bulk mass strength training. Im currently at around 185 with 13-15% body fat. My goal is to get up to about 200-215ish this off season, then cut down to around 190ish by the nice weather time. I think that's fair, dont you say so?

Well my stack right now is:
Pak
Uni-Liver
Omega
Nitro
Flex
M-Stak
Pump.

After my cycle of m-stak i have a can of stak2 to start off.

Right now im doing a 2 on 1 off 2 on 2 off routine.
Because of how the first of the month started on a friday, its kinda threw shit off but whatever. Im so used to starting on a monday and keeping things flush, but i couldn't wait to get on this stak and get shit done.

The workouts go as followed.
Chest/tris
Legs,calfs,abs
Back, sometimes bi's, depending on how im feeling after my back sessions. I ruin my back when i train it.
Shoulders, traps, abs

Day.1 Chest/Tri's
Flat bench. 2x8 185lb, 235lb. Only got the 235 up 5 times. This was my first workout in a couple weeks.
DB incline. 75lb x 10, 90lb x 8
Cable crossovers 2x15 40lbs
I didn't get to incline fly's because i was trying to catch up to hemmy, due to showing up a little later.

Tris.
Incline skull crushers. 2 x 10 85lb and 105lb

Day 2. Legs/Calfs
Squats. 6x15 135lb
lying leg curls. 4x15 50lb
sissy squats. 4x15 body weight
Stiff leg deadlift. 4x15 135lb 160lb 185lb 225lb(12)

Calfs.
Standing calf raises. 4x15 135lb, 175lb, 225lb, 225lb
Seated calf raises. 4x15 45lb, 55lb 75lb 90lb

Day 3. BACK!!!!!!! god i love back days.
Started the workout with some pull ups to warm me up. 4x9
Pulldowns. This is a plate machine. 3x8,6,4 140lb, 160lb, 180lb
Rows. 3x6,4,2 180lb, 190lb, 205lb
Close grip pulldowns. 3x8 145lb, 150lb, 170lb (only got 4 out)
Deadlift. 3x8 225lb, 250lb, 300lb
DB rows. 3x8 100lb(10) 110lb(10) 130(8)

Tried to do some bi's, but i was shot to shit.

Tomorrow is Shoulder/traps. YAY!

thanks bionic. Yeah i was surprised how well i still did with a decent break from hurting my wrist. I hope to blow these numbers out of the water in a couple months.

Day 4. Shoulders/traps. and also did some bi's because i was too tired yesterday after the back workout.

Shoulder/traps
Military press. 3x12,10,6 145lb, 160lb, 195lb
Seated side laterals. 3x10,8,6 30lb, 35lb, 40lb
Front laterals. 3x8,6 30lb, 35lb, 45lb
Upright rows. 3x10,6 135lb, 145lb, 155lb(only got 4 out)
Shrugs. 3x how ever many, then last set to failure. 225lbx15, 315x10, 415lbx6, 225lb to failure

Bi's
Straight bar curls. 3x10 60lb, 80lb, 90lb
Hammer curls. 3x10 35lb, 40lb, 50lb(only got 5)
Incline curls. 3x10 35lb
