I'm almost out so I'm buying supps again. I have everything picked out except for one thing. Should I get Nitro or Nitro G? What are the differences besides one is pills and one is a drink. Anyone who has taken both notice any differences? Thx

I've tried both. I prefer the Nitro pills because I can mix powdered Gatorade in water for the simple carbs. If you're one that doesn't like taking a lot of pills then go for the Nitro G. The grape flavor of the G is awesome.

I have them both my days are so hectic and I don't always have a mixboy to mix my Nitro G up so I carry the pills as an easy back up just in case so I don't miss out.

Bulking or cutting??

I try to stay away from Nitro G on a cut simply because I dont want the extra sugar, but when I am bulking I go nuts with the Nitro G.

If you like convenience and don't mind paying a premium for that convenience, then Nitro G. It's also more complete with the carbs. On the other hand, if you're looking to save a little, go with Nitro and mix with a drink that contains sugars, and you should be good to go. Utimately, it comes down to preference--both contain the key ingredients--EAAs.

Very true. Nitro G costs more in the long run, but I love it for post-workout, it cant be beat in terms of taste and effectivness.

Isn't the 35 grams of dextrose in the nitro G simple carbs? that's what I remember reading about it anyway.. maybe i need a refresher

Yes, they are simple carbs. Here is the read-up on Nitro G from AnimalPak.com :

Yeah, but PWO is when you actually want simple carbs, digests quickly and spikes insulin. Very similar to mixing the original Nitro with gatorade powder

Exactly what I do right now - Pump with gatorade pre-workout, Nitro with gatorade post.

Im gonna get regular nitro, and dextrose seperately. 16 packets in nitro g sounds like itll run out too fast. And a pound of dextrose is like $2. Better deal imo
