After about three years out of the gym I started back in January after my 32nd birthday. I was tired all the time and hated getting dressed because of what I had become. I Started out 200lbs, no drive, no energy, and no telling where I was going. My whole family is over weight, and I always told myself I would never be like that. Hell when I was in my teenage years I competed in natural meets. I spent 4 years in the USMC and I was ashamed to tell people that because of how I looked. I have pics of my first five weeks and still making gains. here it is...

Hell I'm pretty proud of what I have accomplished so far but I want more. My goal is to get down to around 7% body fat and retain the size I have. I have no plans to compete again because the thought of the pre-contest diet makes me cringe. I'm over that. I do want to be able to keep up with my two daughters, and make my wife feel like a school girl. After that what is there?

Shitty workout week so far, last weeks I picked up 275 on the flat bench just to see where I was now this week I had to miss Monday and yesterday because of work. Think I'll just go do some cardio for about 50min then call it a day. I think I'm hitting a plateau. Any motivation would be appreciated.

Just went check so I would know...

My stats...
5'8"
195lbs
20% BF
Workout weights...
Chest - flat dumbbells - 70
Bicep - dumbbell curls - 50
Triceps- cable pull down - 80

This is not all that I do but it will let me keep track of strength gains. I usually do 4 sets 8 - 10 reps. 3 or 4 exercises per muscle group. 2 groups a day alternating cardio and weights.

Week Nine...
Missed a lot this week hopefully work will calm down so I can get a good week. Still Making gains though.

Six month update.

now 185 @ 15% bodyfat.

Have made some strength gains also.
